Can I tell you that is so hot here that the air conditioners are not working effective- or atleast that is what they tell us. Maybe it is that they just don't want to pay to turn them up. All I can tell you is that I'm sweating in an air conditioned building...

How about a little reunion at our house? It's only supposed to be 60 degrees tomorrow. I don't think it's broken 68 here all summer.

Of course all the rainfall we usually get here gets REALLY old after a while too!

Okay somehow that's just wrong!!! It's 9pm and it's still 93º Don't tell Joe or he'll want to move there too. His current fascination is with the Tennessee mountains..... Hey ya'll....

I posted this on the 11 night thread and thought I would share it with my 14 night friends

For my Mom's birthday my brother and SIL picked my Mom and I up at 11 am this morning and we headed on a sorta unknown adventure...I kinda had an idea where we were going but my Mom didn't...

Our first destination....The Butterfly Conservatory in Niagara Falls...an absolutely beautiful place...Mom actually had numerous butterflies land on her...I guess it was because of her colourful top she was wearing....

...and our second destination.....Niagara Falls....it is amazing the fact that we live so close to the Falls yet we couldn't tell you the last time we actually "visited" the Falls....

This is the American Falls

and this is the Horsehoe Falls on the Canadian Side

...and here is Mom and I.

Then my brother and SIL took us out for a nice dinner.

So glad you were able to take your mom on a SURPRISE TRIP for her birthday! The Butterfly Conservatory sounds just perfect. It must have been great to see the butterflys land on her.

Joe had a good birthday at the shore. We were both thinking of Margaret + you on the birthday trip!

Cruise Update for Joe + Georgie... We just got a call this week from DVC concerning our DVC Member Cruise Waitlist. We decided to go! Yes, we're squeezing in a trip in October. We've heard this cruise should be special, and are excited about going. We really wanted to do the "11 Days in Paradise" cruise, and will miss the chance to see everyone who wil be going on that cruise dearly, but work obligations held us back. So, this 4 day cruise will be just what the doctor ordered.

We got back from our annual trek with Joe's family to LBI.

OH SCOTT! We forgot to take Lanyard pictures of us at Barnegat Lighthouse! Hope you're doing well with showing your house. Any prospects yet?

Did you know DCL is offering Travel agent rates on the 11 night Starting at about $25.00 per night ! cat 11
Heard those rates and offered to take one with us !!
we know one who lives in NH.
But she could not go either !

Oh Peter, A special tablemate shared those rates with us too... PLUS there's a $99 airline travel rate too!!! Combined, that's the deal of the century! We just couldn't swing it. ARRRGH!!! We will miss all the memories you guys will make together.

P.S At least I do have my BUBBA MUG + KEG!!!, and I feel as though I'm an honorary land-lubber member of the 11 day cruise!

The house still show a lot, we will see, not too nervous yet, as I don't have a start date in Cheyenne.
