Yes Georgie...I do have some good news!!!!

I just found out I got a promotion!!!!!!!!!

As you know I work for the Canadian Government and we must compete to move up the corporate ladder. This usually involves a written test (3 hours), an interview (1-2 hours) and then a supervisory interview. Well I found out yesterday that I was successful!!!!! I'm so excited....looks like there will be more Disney cruises in my future....and maybe one day a cruise in either the Walt or Roy Suite!!!!!!

Hi everybody,

Just had to share my progress... I just finished my DCL Tom McAlpin pages (they're titled Extreme Makeover DCL edition) my disembarkation pages (down and out) and one layout from Cabo. Now I'm going to take a break from those while I wait for some pix from Snapfish, and do some more BABY pages! I'm on a roll now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We've decided for sure not to do the 11 day, as much as we wanted to, the Alaska cruise did us in for vacations for now... I'll be watching the live thread and living virtually through you guys!

My transfer dosen't LOL, Kelli still waiting for my position to be filled here in Jackson before we make the move. Also waiting on the house to sell, lots of lookers, no offers yet. Oh well it will work out.

Gee, you could be waiting quite a while to have your position filled....did you look for someone in Alpine?!?!? Maybe an ad on the wall of Jeep's!!!

How has the weather been up there? Our month of stifling heat and NO wind (or breeze) is finally over. It's supposed to be in the 70's here most of the week. Looks like sn*w is right around the corner!!!

Weather up here is cool, I even had sweats on last night. Rain early this morn and the temps were in the low 50's, so for those of you east of us I think relief is on the way.

Yes I think they will have a very very hard time finding some one who lives in Teton County. Inter views are Aug 15-16. Will see.

We will give ya a call should we decide to head to Cheyenne to look at places later this month or next.

House will sell but I want it sold now, Lynn is ok with the delay. Lots of good places in Cheyenne and the prices are dropping there.

Long time no chat...Mom is staying home this cruise!!!!!!!

Okay...all this talk about cool weather has me envious....with the humidex (heat index)....the temperature here is 118º...yes you read that right....and I live in Canada!!!!!!!!!!

Scott, does this mean you're transferred or retired?

BTW, everybody, while most of the nation is dying in a heat wave, Florida is hanging steady in the mid 90's. That's still hot, but at least it's not over 100! We do have Chris sitting out in the Caribbean, supposed to be a Cat. 1 by this weekend and sliding through the Florida straits to the gulf. Hope it behaves... we don't need another big one!!!!

It's a sad state of affairs when Florida is the cool spot in the country. In Tampa we haven't broken 100 degrees since anyone can remember. It's humid as all get out, but not hot and wilting....

Can I say I can't wait until our trip to California and some cooler weather?
