Been a long week. Weekend was good except for a 3 hour monsoon along with a tornado warning this afternoon. Afterwards, we went to Cracker Barrel for dinner. So many yummy choices and so little time.

With the Caracker Barrel, Bob Evans, IHOP and Krispy Kreme all within 5 minutes of here, it's a wonder I am not like the Michelin Man.

You just have to rub it in...don't you... I NEED A CRACKER BARREL FIX!!!!!!!

That is a real tear jerker...it rings close to home for me. My nephew had his leg amputated below his knee 10 years ago.

I'm really sorry to hear that- I can only imagine how hard that must have ben for your family. Absolutely heartbreaking.

I've been a little out of touch again lately. Congratulations Renae! Congratulations Ashley!

We just returned from nine days in L.A. visiting Amy's family. While there, we spent four days at Disneyland and DCA. It was Emma's first trip there and it was an amazing experience for Amy and me. Emma seemed to have a really good time. Although she won't remember any of it, Amy and I will never forget it and have some great pictures and video to keep.

Do they have those in both Boy and Girl styles? Since we have no idea which our grandbaby will be yet, we'd have to get both.... Oh man, is Disney going to love us at the cash register!!!!! It's so cute!!!!!

Yes, they have them in both pink and baby blue. I don't remember which characters were on the front of the boys hat. I think Baby Mickey was one of them and maybe Donald and Pluto?!?

On the girls hat it's three baby princesses if you can't make it out in the picture. Like the regular ear hats, you can have the names stitched on the back as well.

That's so cool! I can't wait to put that on our new grandbaby! They don't want to know the sex of the baby, so we have to wait on buying clothes, or buy the kind that wouldn't matter... Ben's birthday is this weekend, and I think for part of his gift, I'm going to give him a case of diapers....!

Everyone, I've just caught up with past posts. Lilfe has been turned upside down. Thanks for your support with Mom. It has meant to much. We've seen some progress as well as frustrations.

We will be meeting Linda + Robert this weekend in NYC for TARZAN. Should be a nice break. My sister will be coming up while we are away.

We got a flyer in the mail today for a new store opening at Florida Mall. It's a M&M's store... so anyone looking for special colors or anything else can find it there... It reminded me of the special M&M's we got on the cruise... that are still on my memorabilia shelf!!! (PS Leslie, they make cool wedding favors)

We're not floating away yet

BUT... due to the flooding of the Delaware River, we did have Thursday and today off. The water filtration plant for Tranton was shut down, and some of the access roads to work were flooded. For me these past 2 days were a Godsend, as we are both slowly thawing out. But I so feel for those whose homes are flooded.
