Our son Matt is playing in a beach volleyball tournament in Seaside Heigths this weekend. He played today and he plays tomorrow. Are you near Seaside Heights?

Thanks for the link Bryan. Matt (out son) lost today and finished 13th. He promptly went to JFK airport and tried to get back to California as soon as he could. I have no idea if he got a flight or not.

Elaine, I"m sorry I missed your big day! Happy Canada Day!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you had a wonderful time and that you got to do all the holiday things that make it important!
For us, it's picnic, hot dogs, watermelon, fireworks from MK from our porch or some other vantage point. The smell of fresh Lemonade, sparklers, burnt matches, and ice cream, and all that goes with that wonderful, stirring music that makes me cry!.....just my 2 bits...

I'm sorry I missed your post. I've been away from the boards... We are about 70 minutes from Seaside Heights.

I hope by now, Matt caught his flight home, and is enjoying the 4th weekend with his family!

Starting to clear up, had rain storms this morning. It should be nice by fireworks time.

I finally put the photos from my mom's camera on my computer from my trip to WDW in May.

I have to make my report on Everest for those that may not have experienced it. The ride is awesome! But if you do not like alot of "g force" then ride in the front... if you like that... ride in the back. A friend told me that, and boy was he right!!

The views are great!

Even if you do not like roller coasters you have to see the que!! It is sooooo KEWL! The CM said that it is authentic from Nepal.

And Scott I did think of you

Now I am watching Macy's fireworks on NBC.. they are nice, but not Wishes...

Just finished watching the MK fireworks. They did not do Wishes... but Sorcery in the Sky... with a bonus patriotic finale. AWESOME!!
