Well, I had a wonderful Mother's day today, hope all you moms did too. At church they always give a little gift to all the moms, and because the owners of Basin at DTD are in our ward, we got gift bags from there... It smells so good! We had 2 of our 3 sons here and ate too many waffles and red velvet cake and watched movies and played games... yeah, a good day!

See Bob...I told you our lilac trees wouldn't be out until the middle of May....we have 7 lilac trees that are just about out...but we have had so much rain lately that I had to take these pictures when the sun was out...

I can almost smell them! They are really beautiful!!! I got to smell a lot of them in Salt Lake a week ago, and they smell as good as I remember.... Nothing here smells remotely like lilacs! We do have Jasmine that blooms in January that smells wonderful, and the oranges make me swoon, but lilacs have always been my favorite. Hopefully there will still be some blooming at my sister's house when we get to BC in two weeks!

Happy 1st Anniversary of your DCL Birthday Mom!!!!!

When we were on the cruise, DCL thought it was my Mom's birthday (which is actually Aug 4)...Allain (our head server) said his manifest said she was having a birthday during the cruise....so now she has 2 birthdays....her real birthday and her DCL birthday (May 18)...so of course, I had to take her out for dinner tonight to celebrate her "birthday"!!!!!
