Hope everyone had a good weekend. Here is was cool and rainy. Here I was told that "since the mushrooms are done, summer is here" So much for that. A few more cool rainy days to go.

Welcome back home. Atleast it's warm and dry there.

Yes it is fun to go back thru the "Live" thread and read the comments and look at the pictures. Then there's all the pictures on the computer and the dvd to enjoy.
Was a wonderful trip. A Lovely Cruise.

I read the Live thread last night and it brought back so many memories that I wanted to be able to read this thread whenever...so I spent some time this afternoon saving the thread into Word...1730 posts over 116 pages turned into 394 pages in Word!!!!!

Disney's First Panama Canal Cruise

One year has come and gone since we met and sailed away.

There were smiles, there was laughter,

There were gifts to find each day.

We built memories as we traveled from one country to the next.

We shared dining, shows and seminars and moved throughout the decks.

With each step we formed new friendships.

With each turn around the bend

Something special was unfolding that would last beyond the end.

Yes, one year has come and gone since we met and sailed away.

And the the bonds of Lanyard People, we now know are here to stay.


Each of you have planted seeds in our hearts from which we've harvested a bountiful crop of blessings this past year. Thank you for enriching our lives.

Well, I had a wonderful Mother's day today, hope all you moms did too. At church they always give a little gift to all the moms, and because the owners of Basin at DTD are in our ward, we got gift bags from there... It smells so good! We had 2 of our 3 sons here and ate too many waffles and red velvet cake and watched movies and played games... yeah, a good day!

Glad to do it. Ya know, as Alvaro and I were talking for a year, I'd hoped we could meet up and see the Canal. Little did I know what I was getting into......but I couldn't have planned it any better if I'd tried!!!

Something really freaky. Today when I saw some of the pictures of the cruise sailaway you all posted yesterday... I had on the exact same outfit yesterday that I wore on the first day of the cruise one year ago. Didn't even think about it when I got dressed yesterday and didn't realize it until I saw the pictures today. VERY VERY FREAKY!!!!!!! Guess that's my May 14 outfit....

The kids got us TiVo....... Prince Charming installed it... and now we are learning how to use it. Ah the wonders of technology! But I can watch DOND and Grey's Anatomy finale at the same time.... whoo hoo. I'm so easily amused.

Everyone, thanks for your well-wishes for Mom. She is FINALLY home from her 2 week luxury stay at the hospital, with a bit of a recovery road ahead of her. We've opted to do the IV antibiotics at home vs. a rehab place. Today will be the first day of that!
