I totally want to fly Southwest because you can't beat the $99 rate, but I was checking on iflyswa.com just the other day and I noticed the flight schedule for 2005 (at least thru January).

The last flight leaving San Jose for Orlando leaves at 10:50am (arriving at MCO at 10:05pm). That would basically mean I'd have to miss work on Friday and blow the whole day in the air. I figure if I'm going to have to take the day off and if my daughter has to miss school - I might as well take a red-eye out Thursday night (gonna cost double) and arrive in MCO Friday morning and do MGM. Well, at least that's where my head is at right now. We should get together sometime for coffee or something! I'm in San Jose (near Willow Glen). You can PM me anytime.

I'm gonna take Peter's advice and wait on the room till next year. But if I can't find a hotel room at the last minute, I will just drive to the port and throw rock's at Peter's window all night!

We'll have to stay u at WDW that Friday so Jeff's Dad can drive us to the port on Saturday. And since we're flying into MCO, it works out that he can pick us up too....

We are Dvc members... have Never had a problem getting A room..

We even showed up with no Reservations once...Lol

Wow - I didn't notice that, Jen!! We are at page 100!!!! See where all our silly posting has gotten us??

I have a question: has anybody finished "Path Between the Seas"? History was never my favorite subject....so even though I'm REALLY interested I'm finding myself only reading it on Monday nights for 1 hour while I wait for DD at her gymnastics class...

We should maybe start a book club?

I have yet to buy that book - though I do plan to pick up a copy sometime before the cruise.

I DID! I DID! I finished "The Path Between the Seas!! I know how it ends!!!

It took me a lot longer than I expected, but I also didn't realize the back of the book comes so quick. There's 2 different glossaries back there!

I really did enjoy it, and I didn't get into my learning-for-learnings-sake mode til WELL after school.......

I can just imagine how AWFUL it would have been if I'd had to read this for a class.....

Neither have I!! When we take our trips to Disneyland I usually put them together the month before. I have more planned for this cruise than I do our yearly November DL trip!

I keep looking for mention of his name in "The Path Between the Seas" but I must have bought the wrong edition.

I actually do think an online book club would be fun! (But I am kind of a nerd so maybe I am the only one). If anyone of wants to get together to read this or something else, we could form a separate thread or a Yahoo group. If anyone is interested I'd be willing to put that together. I don't sleep much.

It is very hot here today. In the 90s. Yuk. I had planned to go to a Good Guys Car show with DD tomorrow, but have decided against it. Will probably stay indoors or get some shade under a tree at a park this weekend. Maybe I'll read that darn book....

I assume that you are asking about the Jackson Bubba's. We saw a Bubba's in Cody and another somewhere else in Wyoming. Are these part of a chain?
Finally got back. The trip to Yellowstone and the other visited places where great. Made the longgggggggg drive worth it!

I never planned vacations before so long in advance. But since I have had my yearly Disney cruises, that's all I do now! This past 2004 cruise with Disney, I had booked 18 months in advance. What I tried to do is have the next one booked before I went on the current one, so there was not really serious post cruise depression

Julebobo, how old is your grandson?? You are going to have so much fun! Make sure to go to Fantasyland early in the day. I think the castle might still be covered (they've been painting it), but hopefully by the time you get there it will be perfect!

Try this to add the image-
click on the IMG button,
enter the following-http://www.thegrriv.net/ribbon/purpleribbon.jpg
then click ok

That should do it.
To get the address(location) of most images, just right-click on them and then click PROPERTIES. The address should show up in the info box.
