I can see that you're going to be trouble at Castaway Cay. Now I know why I don't like going to the dentist.

I can see it now on the morning of May 15, 2005, here is the call..... It's Peter and Bob in the starting blocks and the Disney Magic Claxon sounds..... and they are off..... it's Bob and Peter neck and neck as they streak past the Post office on Castaway Cay... Oh no it looks like Bob has blown a flip flop and Peter takes the lead.... What is that ahead a family of seven walking abreast with three children not paying attention to where they are going.... Peter is trapped by a stroller jam.. It's even again, at the Tram Station...... Will they take the tram or the path..... They have both taken the path... As they approach Mt Rustmore another elderly couple is trying to pose for a a Christmas card photo... slight delay there as they both avoid the temptation to take a photo op....... on the final bend by She Sells Sea Shells, a Cast Member has just tipped over a stack of floatie matts and tubes...... Like gazelles they hurdle the matts and tubes...... still neck and neck they have to navigate Gills Rentals.... a little one trying to walk in his fins blocks both runners and blows water out of the snorkel to cool our contestants.. As they round the corner, both dive for the Grail of hammocks.... both fall short and land in the soft white sand of Castaway Cay... as they look up they see two hammocks occupied by the lovely Jenn and Lee.., they took the tram..... Bob and Peter wipe the sand off their faces and shake the sand out of their shorts, offer to buy each other a Conch Cooler and head to the Castaway Bar..... life is good

:hyper: :hyper: :hyper: ::yes:: :moped:

Bob JEN is the hygienist

I just build stuff like the Swan and Dolphin

:teeth:

Peter, maybe you are "guilty by association" :) ;)

By the way, when does Jenn get to use the computer again??

Speaking of computers, I bought a new one today :) It was time...my other one is having issues and I'm tired of it. Even the doggie cam was down :(. Still is! All my computers are having issues this week and I haven't had time to deal with it, so I bought a nice, new one. I could've purchased, um, a nice 7-night cruise for two for the price!

Is it vacation time yet? I have 6 more weeks before vacation. And when I get back from that vacation I have 2 1/2 more weeks before my conference in Anaheim, woo hoo!

Then Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner, then I have vacation at WDW in January, then May will be soon to come...can't wait!!

Great day yesterday.... got all packed, reviewed documents, mowed the lawn, ran with the puppy, cleaned house, walked all three dogs. No work today.. What to do.... looks like a great day on the horizon... already ran with the puppy and am making breakfast for Lynn.

Decided to take The Path Between the Seas as reading material for the Sept trip. Like rcostello we have those little breaks to look forward to before the cruise. I hope they make the time go faster. I realized that after the May cruise I will have only 2 more years to go till I really retire.

So what are folks doing for Labor Day???? I think we will head for the hills. Where we might be going I will have to make sure we pack the bear spray, all three kinds.

Jindy, are they still doing MSEP at CA?? Also TOT, will be interesting to see the difference... looking forward to doing soaring again... will have to keep an eye on the internet site for admission media at a good price.

Yes, life is good!
Besides, there are three or four hammocks in the area of that picture. So I guess that I will have to settle for one of the others... with drink in hand!

BTW, my birthday is May11 so, I will take any leftover presents that Peter doesn't need.......shipboard credits, drink coupons, ect.

We finally made it back home. Laundry started and resting up for work tomorrow. I think I found out approximately how much weight I will gain during a 14 day cruise. Arrrgggg!

Hey Guys,

Just visiting from the other Repo cruise thread.

I'm not usre if anyone is buying one day tickets for DL, so if you are I thought this might be helpful. If you have a Disney Visa card, you can save $10 off the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror Commemorative Ticket for Disneyland. The normal price is $59 so you get it for $49. It is a one day, one park ticket that you can buy in advance, and the best part is it NEVER expires. I just called and confirmed this. Just call this number 714-781-4400 to get the tickets. I decided to get these since we are only going to be able to go to DL for one day, and I like the idea of having my tickets before we go so we don't have to wait in line to buy them when we get there.

Wow! Bob & Peter...who else is celebrating birthdays or some other special milestone during our cruise???

"who else is celebrating birthdays or some other special milestone during our cruise???"

It will be a couple of months early, but we are using the cruise to clebrate our 25th anniversary.

Piglet33, thanks for the info.

Bob, will see you in the early AM on deck 4 doing laps and laps and laps and laps...

My birthday is 2 weeks before! Does that count????:hyper:

I think it is one of the friendly mods that is joining us birthday during the cruise too.

(that has to be the worst sentence, but I am tired :) )

Debbie

No special things happening around that time for us. Sounds like we will have a few people to have some special birthday celebrations for.

Hey Peter, months ago you mentioned you had a friend on the cruise who was going to find out who the Captain will be for our cruise. Did you have any luck with that?

Scott, that rendition of Peter and Bob racing for the hammocks is really clever! I can see it now. LOL

Scott H Jen Just got the Book u Got and iis going to Read it on our Cruise...

Thanks Peter! Okay, so now I will need a report on Ron Jon's and the name of the Captain. Please don't let this interrupt your trip, but I'd like to get the certificates ordered. Would be much appreciated!

Robin

Jindy... Thanks! I just realized we will be there on our anniversary -- May 22. Very cool. It will be our 12th anniversary.

For you hammock fans, you could get one of those fold up hammocks with frame that fits in a carry bag. That way you wouldn't have to fight over it. Perhaps you could also set it up on the promenade deck and watch the canal transit from your hammock. ;)

Jindy, are they still doing MSEP at CA?? Also TOT, will be interesting to see the difference... looking forward to doing soaring again... will have to keep an eye on the internet site for admission media at a good price.
Sorry, Scott - I totally missed this! Yes, MSEP is at DCA. Every night, I think. Ususally, if you time it right, you can watch MSEP near the entrance of DCA, and as soon as it's over run out of DCA and go to the esplanade in between both parks and watch the DL fireworks above you. (Although I recommend you watch the fireworks on Main St. at DL...but if you happen to be at DCA, that's one way to see them.)

We never get tired of Soaring. Such a great ride!

On our last Disney cruise in May I waited with another guy from New York by the stairs about 1 hr. prior to being able to get off the ship at Castaway Cay to get a Hammock! We ran off and speed walked all the way to the island! We needed those guys standing on the sidelines with little cups of water. Then my hubby & daughter met us a little later! We are so not like that, but learned that because we are nice people, we always get the leftovers, and darn it, I wanted a hammock by the water!!!!!;)

Kimberly

Thanks, Jindy, we caught MSEP about a couple of years ago, that was the last time we were at DL. So we are looking forward to seeing it again in Moy of 05. Actually we made a special trip to DL in 1996 to see it's final showing, silly us. Might get to DL again in Oct of 05 as we have the big Dive Show in Vegas, will see as DL is just a few miles away. Can't wait for Soaring to also be at WDW, that will be good. I would like to see a different film for FL.

I am going to get several of those portable Hammocks and open up Scotties Hammock Cabanna on the Waters Edge of CC. Cash only, hey gotta pay for this cruise some how.

I asked Captain Henry on our 4 day cruise last May if he would be the Master of teh Magic for the transition cruises. He said he was going to be on Wonder.
