Scott or anyone else, have you ever used your GPS to find the parks? We'll be taking our rental car to the parks each day on our next trip instead of Disney's transportation. I've always used maps from books since the signs on-property aren't that easy for me to follow. The parks aren't too hard to find but I never know how to find resorts since I don't know which park each resort is near.

My question is, is the GPS pretty good about getting you to the parking lots of the parks and resorts?

Steve, got me on that one. When we have had a car, which is pretty rare, we usually get a WDW transportation map. Can usually get one from a front desk person. I know this may shock some folks, but I have yet to use a GPS for driving directions.

My thought is that a GPS would work for that kind of routing if the parking lots were in the map data base. Now ya got me curious will have to check mine...........Stand By................Nope I dont have that good of maps, maybe a street pilot kinda system would have them. Now if you need a nautical buoy identified or info I got that.

So who has been to see Dead Man's Chest and what did you think?

Both my teenage DD's went to the special midnight show.

DD #1 had an early flight to Rhode Island Friday morning, but no way she was missing opening weekend, so we sent her off on about 2.5 hrs. sleep. Good thing it was a long, direct flight or I would have worried about her missing connections. She said it was the first time she has ever fallen asleep on a plane. Gee, wonder why?

DD #2 went again last night and said it was better the second time and that she picked up on things she missed the first time.
Yep, I'm thinking what I missed would have been just about the whole movie if I had done the midnight show. Am I showing my age here?

I have not seen it yet, but hope to sometime this week.

I'd love to get to Disneyland and see their Jack Sparrow (I'm hearing he's really good) and ride the refurbed POC too. Just not sure when to work a trip into the schedule.

Yep.... a little touch up paint on the frame and it looks like new. A great place to enjoy my flammable beverages by the pool.....

Man, we were just there in April. Missed them puppies. Had the SUV with us too. Could have squeezed one or two in the back.

Would have looked nice on the deck---with a flamable breverage.
