Renae....I have most of Georgie's poems saved in word...but I think her best work was her Panama Canal poem she wrote on the ship.

Georgie...Is it okay if I post it, just in case people did not see it???

Elaine

Hi Elaine!

Thanks for your comments on the PC poem. I wanted to do something special... or at leats try to. If you could, yes, post it. I only have the copy that Guest Services typed up for me and made copies of. I really wanted to get it our to everyone the night before the PC crossing, but lost steam after 75-100 copies! :faint:

Debbie... thanks for posting the picture of Tom Wolber. I will have to wait 'til I'm home from work to see it... they are blocking everything here! :guilty: Yes, before I knew it, Linda had me up meeting the VP! She was something! (Thanks Linda, that was a great DCL memory!)

Leslie! You got your stuff in the mail!!! Hope ours is on the way too! :Pinkbounc I'm going over to B+N tonight to see if I can buy the scrapbook magazine youspoke about. I have absolutely NO TIME to do anything with it... :rotfl2: but a girl can dream... right :wizard: OH MY GOSH... I hope our pins don't go to our TA either!!! :rotfl2:

Lesley! You Go Girl! Traveling all over and sleeping in a treehouse... PICTURES??? Yes, I'd LOVE to see them!

Laurie! When you go... PICTURES TOO... OK?

Sorry we haven't been around, Jeff and I have both been going crazy with stuff. He thanks everyone for the birthday wishes.

Great pictures everyone!

Just a bit of a request. If you can keep my mom in your thoughts this holiday weekend. We lost my stepdad on the 4th of July 2 years ago. And while the wounds have started to heal, it's still a pretty open wound. Thanks

Okay here's Georgie's Panama Canal Poem.....

Through the Panama Canal on the Disney Magic – May 20, 2005

We’ve left Curacao behind.
But wait till tomorrow and you will find.
A brand new journey for us in store.
It’s something that’s never been done before.
The Disney Cruise Line will make it’s first trip.
A momentous occasion for this Magic Ship.
On Friday, the twentieth day of May.
Two thousand and five, we will all sail away.
The Panama locks will be opened wide.
And soon, we’ll be traveling safely inside.
First up is Gatun, then Pedro Miguel.
Then it’s through Miraflores, oh the tales we will tell.
We did it! We made it. We rose up and down!
It was quite a tight fit. We could not turn around!
From ocean to ocean the crews did not rest.
They got the ship through from the East to the West.
The adventure’s not over. We’re all far from through.
With excursions and seminars there is much more to do.
From KINGDOM to KINGDOM our mission is sure
We’re bringing the Magic to Disneyland’s door.

Georgie...I sent a copy to your email address you gave me.

Linda thanks for posting our meet in SLC. It was soup for me for diner the next night, kinda scary when the dentist asks for a torque wrench. Better today. It was great dining with you guys. Note to one and all, When Linda and Robert talk about their daughter, it should be noted that Jamie is a very talented young lady of which they have a lot to be proud of. It was a pleasure to meet her.

Lynn appreciated the scrapbooking tips etc. After a few Michaels, Robert’s, and Walmarts, our camper could hold no more and Lynn is well stocked to Scrap Away.

I found the Mickey Cheese at the Walmart in Idaho Falls.

Bob, Sad about Paul Winchell, I was glad to see that they mentioned his work on the artificial heart. I well remember Jerry Mahoney and Knuckelhead.

Lesley, sounds like you are having a great adventure.

Jenn, we will be thinking of you family

Jenn you and your familily will be in our thoughts. We lost my uncle 2 years ago on the 4th of July also.

Debbie

I added a few more pics to week 1. The new pics are after #151 Week 1

Then I did one just of the canal. I put them all up. Canal

1 more week of pics to go!!

Yeah Leslie....still nothing in Canada....I bet I'll be last to get my stuff since I was doing the document dance first!!!!!!

Elaine

Debbie, Thanks for the pictures, they are great. I never noticed the DCL Logo up there is the glass.

No T shirt here is WY.

Scott,

A torque wrench??? OWWWWW! It's jello and milkshakes for you for a while, huh? I sure hope it all gets better soon!

Lynn, so you've joined our happy bunch of scrap addicts, have you? You're in for a lot of fun and adventure playing with paper... if you need any advice, ask any one of us, we love to teach, help, and generally boss newbies around... just kidding... I do love teaching, but I'm pretty easygoing and hardly every boss anyone around besides Eric...

Hey everybody, while you're sending good thoughts down here to Florida for Jenn's mom, could you send a few over here to our house? My back isn't healing and I have now been off work for over 2 weeks with at least 2 more in store. I'm getting good care and therapy from medical people, but it takes time... thanks guys!

I second Scott, Debbie your pictures are fantastic. I think we need to add a DisBoard Photography course taught by Debbie on our Reunion Cruise 200?.

Did I miss something in the pictures - DCL Logo? Glass??

Kelli...that's strange....we mailed postcards from the same ports...in the same mailboxes...sometimes at the same times....and all mine have been delivered...but then again, you do live in the "Wild West"...maybe they will be coming by "Pony Express" :rotfl2:
