Hi all Finally finished the packing, and the good news is I am way under weight (Jet Blue allows 70 pounds) One of my bags only weights 36 pounds! Thank goodness as that includes 17 extra pounds for pins. Good thing I sent the first batch down to the port via 3 day UPS (and thanks for the tip Lynda, I printed the info for all 3 boxes) Now I'll have tons of extra room for goodies I buy along the way.

Time for bed soon, as 5:00 comes around really early.

11:00 here in NJ... just finished the luggage tags

I'm still not packed, but I'm hoping that gets done too!!!

My DH is just a doll to put up with me right now. He was working the laminator... without a groan or complaint!!!

Janis... yes... we're leaving on Saturday. I really do not want to go into work, as I have really SO much to do! Hope to arrive at the airport at 10:30! I'll probably be sleeping, but I'll definitely have a SMILE on my face!

The prep has been long the threads have been fun. In less than two days we’ll be at the sail away party for fun in the sun

We talked some fun and we talked some smack. We even heard the cries of Randall as he attempted to pack

We sat by our doors dreaming of cruise docs, when the big brown truck didn’t stop at our house we pelted it with rocks

Don’t arrive at the port a moment too late., the crowd will be impatient chanting “Break down the gate”

While boarding the Magic we walk nice and slow, with a warm fuzzy feeling we pre-booked our meals at Palo

As the whistle blows and our banner flies high, well wishers on the pier wave with tears in their eyes

Fret not the stress of the office or cost of the cruise; at the Dreams Unlimited Wine Tasting we’ll be drinking some booze

So take your airborne and get your shoots for Milleara to stay out of the tomb, AND BEWARE OF THE PLASTIC MONKEYS AND ELEPHANTS LURKING IN THE RAIN FOREST ROOM

11:23 in NJ and we are finally packing. I have my bag and garmet bag complete. Son's stuff is just about done, my daughters is in progress, which leaves all of my wifes stuff. Completed the cruise docs, so next is to put the luggage tags on (Thanks Georgie!!) and then the household duties like the trash.
Oh yea flying SW so at 12:01 I have to print out the boarding pass's. Then I think it's to bed, check the work email in the morning and run the final check to lock down the house ans stuff.

I made it to WDW safe and sound!

Great room at the Dolphin looking over the pool and MGM. Stayed at Epcot till 10:15 pm. Soaring is GREAT!

The best head shakable moment today was ther lady in the restroom at MCO looking at her cruise docs like it was the first time she had seen them!

Not long now!!!

Off to MK in the morning!

Yes we saw Leslie, Bubble rings is an advanced class I teach… LOL Pretty neat huh

It was a fun dive and fun to see a sign with your name on it. Also there was a reporter from the O Sentinel there and he did a little interview with me after the dive. Ken and Shari and Lyn and I each bought the DVD of the dive so we can bore you all with How we spent our vacation talk.

Will see some of you tomorrow. Room 3225 SSR, Night and safe trips,

Kay glad your DH is OK, remember Kids wash your hands a bunch to help keep ya from getting sick.

I don't know how I'm going to make it through work tomorrow! At least I'm only working a half day. Packing is almost finished, just need Ron to get home from his business trip so I can finish up.

Mickbee this is just what I needed! What a great, and silly poem. It's beem a mega travel stress day here. But the bags were actually packed early and we are just under the weight limit.

I just want to know who ordered the "no sleep" for 4 days before the cruise. What is that all about? I need some rest. Guess I better go on a 2-week cruise to get some.

Ok girls... At least I think it's only us girls left here...

I'm going to peace out at this time. Got my suitcases packed, trying to pull the toiletry/misc. CRAP bag together. Got to get up at oh dark thirty to get to United and HOPE they are still working! Wish us luck!

Great poem MickBee...I was wondering what that sound was, I thought it was howler monkeys, now I know it was Randall. Glad he's not on our deck.

We're at the hotel, have to be up in 3 or 3 1/2 hrs to get ready for the airport. Still waiting on the other 3 members of our party. That would be mom, dad, and my sister. I'm *so* glad I am not around to witness their chaos...

The whole house is shutdown...everything unplugged, storm windows shut, security on, water off. I packed enough clothes for 3 people, however I refrain from bringing my Amelda collection.

For you Ameldas out there...here's a story...I was cleaning the bedroom because you know if a thief broke in you wouldn't want a messed up bed, right? Anyway, I knew there were shoe boxes under the bed but never thought much of it, I thought I knew what they were. NOT!!! I found 2 new pair of shoes, YIPPY! I got to go shopping in my own bedroom. I think I bought them last August. I really should pay more attention...hehehehee!

why is it you think you are organised and then the last day just goes by in a blur and you realize that you've forgotten loads of things

safe travels to everyone....and remember, when you're getting stressed with the kids, or somethings goes wrong or not quite to plan, just think of the 99.9999999% percent of the population who aren't on the Magic, that should be enough to put a smile back on your face

At work now, relativly knock on wood night.
I'm all packed, Jeff managed to unpack me and repack me after I told him to stop messing with my stuff. I have to stop at the drugstore in the AM. No idea about sleep tomorrow, doubt I'm going to want to.
Have a great bottle of wine for Scott's tomorrow, and then pick up Catherine at the airport, followed by dinner of sushi at Wolfgang's and then the club. Somtime I will have to sleep tomorrow, but not if I can help it.
Thanks for all the great times over the last year and the awesome times to come over the next 3 weeks!

Alright it's VACATION TIME!!!!

The bags are packed, the sail away buttons are done, and I am ready for 17 days of fun, sun, and a good time with everyone!!!

Headed to the airport tomorrow afternoon, and if the weather plays nice, Debbi and I may get some time in the MK before we head to the port. I can't wait to see everyone!!!!!!

It's 1:40 a.m. here and I HAVEN'T started packing and our flight leaves at 10 a.m. today! I'm back at the office doing a couple of things and then headed back home. But the laundry is done and the house is clean (well....kinda).

OK - THIS IS NO WAY TO START A VACATION

DH WENT BOWLING TONIGHT AT 5 PM AND I TOLD HIM TO TAKE MY CAR SINCE WE HAVE EVERYTHING READY and packed and I backed his car into the driveway - and away he went in my car.

He calls 15 minutes later - he was rear ended by two cars. Now I have to deal with my car when I get back and put in shop.

Not a way to start my vacation.

He says he is okay, but you know how the aches and pains come later. Now I have to make sure he stays well while we are away.

I am so upset. At least he didn't have to go to the ER - I have to be thankful for that.

Just my tale of woe for the night................
