Hello everybody!!

Scott, sorry to hear about surgery. I don't know if the scar will be that cool, I don't remember them being that big. I have taken care of a few guys who have had rotator cuff surgery who have come to the ICU due to cardiac issues (previous MI)- one of the MD's put a morphine drip directly into the surgical site and they had no pain, until we pulled it. However, it did give them great range of motion. I know the worst thing will be moving it after and they are going to want you to move it so you don't get adhesions. Good luck with the left handed typing!

Did anyone else get the new book and DVD from DCL? I haven't watched it yet, but it will be interesting to see if it shows all of the new changes since dry dock.

8 below was really good and sad. Noah cried and cried. He said it was a horrible movie and he never wanted to see it again. However, I thought it was very good. He also cried at the Disney IMAX movie about Mars, because two of the robots were left behind. I'm glad my little kung-fu master still has a heart.

Seriously though ( :lmao: ) you gotta have patience. I know that redheads are short on that, but....
After we got Tippy, we read that Beagles, while smart, are very stubborn when it comes to house training. She didn't fit that description. She was broken quite fast. Still is, even with all her problems. Also, is your grandpup male or female? Supposedly, females are easier to housebreak.

When we go to Florida next month, we will just have to take Tip with us and she can explain things to the little floor customizer. :)

O.K. where did you find the recipe for the Konk Kooler?
Snowmobiles? Thought that would be your kind of ride. Not far to fall. :rotfl2:

The beagle is a female... she has NO interest house training. You would think she would want to be like the big dogs... but no. I have no patience. I don't even remember what patience is...:rotfl2: Also.. we don't have them full time (THANK GOD) so going back and forth doesn't give them any consistancy in training. They are not my dogs after all... yet anyway... seems we always end up with them eventually.....:crazy2:
Looks like Elaine took care of the Konk Kooler recipe... Thanks Elaine! I substituted Cranberry juice for the passion fruit juice... didn't have that on hand. It was quite nice! Also they don't specify how much pina colada mix. We use the bottled stuff and it is pretty sweet so I only use an ounce.

Scott. I went to the Eight Below website and watched the 5 or 6 minute trailer.... balled my eyes out thru most of it.  I know they'll probably be showing it on the ship... but I don't know if I'll be brave enough to go and watch it in a theater full of people..... I'll need a whole box of Kleenex.... and I don't think they'll appreciate the sobbing.....

Hey guys,

Are you telling us that it has an awful ending? I hate movies that get you all involved, then kill off the heroes at the end, especially if they are animals! (I'll never see 'The perfect storm' again!) Please tell me before we go to this one, I have to be prepared, or I'll totally lose it and bawl (loudly)!

Leslie,

What happened to the grandkid rule about spoiling them rotten and sending them home? And BTW, since the guy has a DIS designator, DSILTB, does that mean he's popped the question? If so, have they set the date??? Do we get to see you before or after your cruise?? Which one is it? Are you going with Elaine? Yeah, I know, lots of questions.... you know me....?

ttfn,
Renae

Im With Noah.
Celeste , I think I have some nights coming up this Week gotta love those 11 to 7's :crazy2: :crazy2:

8 Below Trailer click here

Ok I did watch the 8 Below trailer and checked out the web site. I know the movie will be too much and will pass on it. I did read the cast info about the dogs and was glad to see that several were pound rescues. That is KEWL. Just looking into the eyes of our kids tells me it would be too sad, I would be there with Leslie, Lynn and others with a very very big pile of Kleenex.

Celeste I know the scar wont be that big as it is the mini-open procedure that will be used. But hey it will be a scar.

Just saw this on Mouse Savers. I also asked to be wait-listed 3 weeks ago, but was told there was no such thing. Just thought I'd share what I found.

If you want to cruise May-December 2007 on the Disney Magic, be aware that Disney is no longer taking waiting list requests for those sailings. Beginning 3/28/06, Disney Cruise Line will begin processing the May-December 2007 Disney Magic cruise requests that have already been taken, in the order they were received. Guests (or their travel agents) will be contacted as each request is processed to let them know they have cleared the waitlist, at which time their cruise will be reserved and a confirmation issued. This will continue through 4/3/06.

Not on Disney's waiting list? You can contact travel agencies now and get put on the agency's waiting list. They will be on the phone first thing on 4/4/06 when the remaining staterooms open up, doing their best to get reservations for waiting list clients who want May-December 2007 Disney Magic cruises. Disney has stated that there will be some availablility left in stateroom categories 4-12 when they open bookings on 4/4/06.

No official announcement has been made about special itineraries, but there are strong rumors that DCL will be doing 10-night and 11-night Mediterranean itineraries in the summer. Rumored dates:

5/12/07-5/26/07- Repositioning cruise from Port Canaveral to Europe
5/26/07-8/18/07 - Alternating 10-night and 11-night cruises
8/18/07-9/1/07 - Repositioning cruise from Europe to Port Canaveral

I sure hope they annouce the itineraries before they go on sale! We won't know if we want to book the Repo or possibly one of the 10/11 nights until we see the itineraries!

Here is a picture of Emma sleeping. She must be dreaming of riding rollercoasters with Dad someday! Only 23 more inches for Space Mountain!

No, the ending is not sad. I don't want to say anymore, so it isn't spoiled for others.

I just talked to my TA, and they said the dates are set as:
Repo-May 26 14 day
First Med cruise May 28 either 10 or 11 days, then alternating after that.
Repo coming home Aug. 8th.

He put us on the wait list for the first med cruise.... now we really start to save!

Bob it's on the DCL web site under Castaway Club...they have the recipe for the Konk Kooler, the Chocolate Soufflee and the Vanilla Sauce for the Chocolate Soufflee.

Here's the recipe for the Konk Kooler

Konk Kooler

Ingredients
1/2 ounce dark rum
3/4 ounce light rum
1 ounce passion fruit juice
1 pina colada mix
1 ounce orange juice

Directions
Place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously.
Serve in a tall glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a wedge of tropical fruit.

Enjoy
Thanks for the Recipe Elaine. Probably won't use it for a while considering the foolishness of the weekend.

Yes, when they are at your place you spoil them. Then send them home.

How can you not have any patience? Awwwww!

Everyone have a great week!

Go ahead.... make me feel horribly guilty........:sad2: Joe has enough patience for both of us and then some. Luckily when he is around he cleans up the mess and I just get to play with them. ;) Woody and Tink help out by wearing them out running around outside..... then they sleep like this for 10 minutes and they are recharged and ready to go again! Wish I could recharge that quickly..... I NEED A CRUISE!!! :rotfl:
Lucky for me... I'm getting one!!! :thumbsup2

Leslie, I just installed "Melvis Bacon's Typing Toutor for the Left Hand Only Typist", with enough practice I should be OK. I got two weeks.

or you could get a left-hand Maltron...I've been using a right-hand one for years......
:thumbsup2

Good morning everyone! :coffee:

Well, the rain has begun again...the creek is almost over the bridges and the waterfall is really flowing...beautiful sight, but devastating for erosion control!

We took Q to see Eight Below. Michael and I are both crybabies and were sobbing at the end. Q kept looking at me then would wipe my tears away. There is one part that was a little scary  that had her in tears! But, when we returned home we gave our Nikko a big, big, big hug and she got extra special treats!

My brother and sister-in-law were in town over the weekend. Had wonderful times with them and decided to visit Italy next summer (June 07) to celebrate their 20th anniversary and our 10th. How perfect will it be to just hop on the Magic for a continuation of our trip?!?! pixiedust: Does anyone know what the ports are for these cruises?

Have a great day! pirate:
