So good to hear everyone chatting... just like the cruise (not quite... but you know what I mean )

Lilacs? love 'em! We bought my grandparents home and have several links... but not PINK! Wow, it there were only a way to get some saplings! Maybe we'll have to visit Canada!

Now I wish we had tried some of the special dessert on the... what was it... the Captains menu? Sure sounds like it was a hit!

Bob Saget? We were in the first show... LOVED the Muppets and the cast video! I had tears in my eyes for that one! Could have done without Bob and his ad libs. Was he supposed to be the headliner entertainment we had heard rumors about?

Raspberries... sure miss them. I had loads every morning they were offered on the museli! mmmmm!

Que... don't know what happened, but I hope everything works out for him. He seemed like a very energetic guy. DH liked how he handled bingo.

Celeste... good luck with those papers!

The BIG 30 for Jeff! WOW! When I turned 30 there was a song out about theunig 30, so it didn't seem too bad. It really doesn't seem too bad now!

Laundry... it's still here! We had a big electrical storm here last night. The power surge went through the house, and knocked out the outlet for... take a guess... You're RIGHT... the washing machine!

It's one-day at a time mode for us.

The pot-luck luncheon today went well, but I was on my feet the whole time for set up and clean-up. Glad everyone enjoyed themselves, but boy I am really beat tonight! And, I'll have even MORE work to catch up on tomorrow!

Re-union cruise? YOU BET!

Some day, we'll meet again.
Some day, we don't know when.
And together how happy we'll be!
They'll be smiles and great shouts of glee! (sorry... but it's late, and my brain is fried)

Almond stollen, is that the recipe in the Dis cookbook? Did anyone get the recipe for the Parmesan chicken from the Palo brunch? I asked PJ to get it for me, but I guess he didn't get time. I'm going to email him and get it so I can make it for Father's day for Eric. Yum!

We asked for the recipe for the Sweet Onion Tart from Atilla the Hun... never got it. Sure would like to know if there's someplace to write for it.

I got some recipes from Palo's, but they were only for desserts...

We spent the weekend after the cruise with Keith's Aunt and Uncle in CA. He's about 80 and NOT a computer guy. One night, we stopped by the hotel and got the laptop so we could show him some of our pics. He looked at me sideways, and said, "I have no idea how you're going to do this!"

I spent about 3 minutes explaining how a digital camera and a laptop can show him pictures! It was awesome!! He looked at ALL of them....took over an hour, but he was SO interested....I kept coming back into the room to see if he was bored, and he kept saying, "No, I'm not done yet...."

Such a sweet old guy, I'm sorry I'd never met him before!!!

I bought my Mom the Disney Cookbook that was for sale in Mickey's Mates. It has recipes from the resorts and parks but nothing from the cruise. They do seem to be some similar recipes - haven't had a chance to make anything yet.

There is a Stollen recipe in the Recipe book from Steve & Amy that was delivered to our fishes - is that the recipe some of you are looking for?

Unbrulee recipe :

Take strawberry yogurt, mix with strawberry jello, place in cupcake baking tin and chill till firm, plate and puton a few foo foo swirls of color stuff (presentation is everything) serve to unsuspecting cruise passengers. Can also be garnished with the essence of leeches.

I got to install a 7M DSL today.....woo hoo! It was smokin'!!!

Glad to hear Jackson is still getting snow....my cousin's Bday picnic got snowed out at Vedawoo. It's usually only a monsoon every year, she's really cursed!!

Ah, the Lingonberry Cheese Pudding! How could I forget? I will never forget the look on your mom's face and on Steve's face when they tasted it! Priceless!

It was so nasty I could have washed it down with a mug of Beverly to get the taste out of my mouth! (side note - do you know how hard it is to try to type "mouth" and not have my fingers type "mouse"?)

So you let me try something with cheese in it did you? I didn't catch that! I thought you guys were my friends...oh, wait...we're family now! No wonder!

It's okay. I'm not going to tell you what was really in those camembert fritters!
