Happy Canada Day!

I just got home an hour ago from DC--well actually Falls Church VA for a conference. We were told to get to Dulles early due to the holiday and the lines will be unbearable if we waited to long. So it took an hour to go 10 miles and then we waited at the airport for 4 hours because the lines were non-existent

THEN---- we boarded the plane... little commuter jet.... and they only had one air conditioner... did I mention it was 90 degrees!!!!! So it was HOT then we had to wait 1 hour on the tarmac in the sun with no AC waiting for 30 peices of luggage!!!

We had no air until we got to 21,000 feet and it is such a short flight that it did not last long. And of course we had to circle 2 times before landing. We all just wanted OFF that plane!!

Ok, done ranting I need a shower.....

So far... no goodies from DCL... maybe they DID send everything to Dreams, our TA... maybe I'll send them a letter.

Q - Has any one else gotten anything who booked through a Travel Agent???

Would this be the pins we were promised? I haven't received them yet? But today I did get my t-shirt and hat I ordered

I'm saving it for the 2007 reunion cruise. Maybe he'll be ready to join the Grass Skirt Fraternity by then too!

I am so hoping for this! I have been doing the lurking thing as well. Too many things going on in my non-Disney life right now, but I do check in with all of you daily I miss all of you very much, and meeting all of you made the cruise that much more special.

That's the pin that DCL said we'd be getting. I guess they felt really sorry for us and threw in a map as well!!!!!

No I didn't win any contest, or order anything, but it came with a note from Tom McAlpin calling us 'valued guests' and thanking us for being part of our inaugural voyage through the panama canal...we hope you will want to make more memories with us again......... Pretty cool. I took a pic of it and Kay is posting it.
