GOOD MORNING EVERYONE -

Will finish putting all suitcases together this weekend. We pick up our rental car on Thursday and hopefully can book a room on Thursday - so that we can get to WDW a day earlier. Yesterday we couldn't book, as all DVC rooms were booked. They told me to call back on Monday, that over the weekends there are always cancellations. We'll try.

Beautiful day here in Ft. Lauderdale. No rain or storms. Just hanging out and waiting.

I can't believe how many great events we have planned and to have the list daily to see what I've missed or still need to do (I printed it out and took it to work to show my co-workers (it was 10 pages long) and they can't believe all the events we have planned). I have had so much fun "chatting" with you all since I booked our trip in January and I made my first post on page 178 (we're now at what page 824). You guys all made me feel so welcome and I feel that I already know everyone yet we've never met. I hope we will continue our friendships after the cruise.
I hope I remembered to thank everyone, if I missed anyone, I'm truly sorry but I am so thankful for everything that everyone has done to make this a "trip of a lifetime" for my Mom & I.

I had a dream last night that when we arrived at the port cat 3 were available for upgrade....I then tried to talk DH into upgrading!

I can't believe I am dreaming about this trip!!

One of the guys that works with DH is very into renaissance fairs, etc. Well, yesterday he dropped off a bunch of clothes, boots and accessories for DH to wear for pirate night. All I can say is "watch out"!!! AARRR!!

Well, today I got the box of pins from pinpros. I haven't counted yet, but it is supposed to be 250 of them. Susan is supposed to be sending me the balance. (I hope I get them early next week before I leave) This weekend I will inspect all of them that I have and bag them up with the labels I made for everyone's order. You just will not believe the sigh of relief I will let out once I have them ALL in my hands

Well, I read in the LA Times paper yesterday a quote from the 5-5-05 celebration at Disneyland where Eisner said that Disneyland was and always will be the Original Magic Kingdom.

Wish I still had the paper to quote completely verbatim, but it was there ... I swear! If my coffee had kicked in already, I would pull it up from the internet.

Some folks are staying at 2 of the most stayed at resorts at the Port
Ron Jons and the Radisson, no official meets have been Set up as of yet but Look for folks all day around the pool area's also several others at the Airport hyatt and plans are in works.

Food = There are plans to introduce new lunch and dinner menus so that no menu will be repeated during the course of the sailing.

I would like to just say a BIG THANKYOU to everyone who has contruibuted to this site. Without this the U.K cruisers would have missed out on so much information. Not to mention the fun, laughter and support that we have given to each other over the past year.

You have made what seemed to be a long wait just fly by. We have enjoyed reading the posts and cannot wait until next week when we will be able to actually speak to you all in person.

Peter this is our first "real" cruise - we did a 4 day trial run on the Wonder last November and there was just so much to see and do that I'm really glad we're doing 14 days this time. I still can't believe that we are going to be able to enjoy the "Magic" of Disney for 14 whole days (18 days if you include our stay at Disneyland after the cruise)!!!

I have to drag myself away from my computer to pack....my Mom & I want to be all packed by tomorrow night!!!!

I know a lot of you are getting ready to leave for Disney soon and I just wanted to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to everyone for planning all the great events....
I also want to thank EVERYONE on this message board. I have had so much fun "chatting" with you all since I booked our trip in January. I hope we will continue our friendships after the cruise.

Elaine, what a lovely note! Someone else already "Second-ed" it... I will "THIRD" it.

I am getting teary-eyed just thinking of all that's been contributed! Looking forward to seeing everyone. Jammies and all!

Now I really have to get ready. I have no idea what will happen at work on Mon + Tues. Actually while I'm on the cruise, decisions could be made about my current job. My DH even said this morning, maybe we should just stay home and forget about going since things have gotten so bad... I don't think he really means it, but... things are really bad, thanks to my user's made up comments. (yes, I am totally drained, and right now, not excited at all about the cruise... just numb. I need another month to pull things together)

I also would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone on the westbound repo cruise thread. I have trouble imagining not being able to interact with all of you on a daily basis. It has been a true pleasure to be a part of this.
Hopefully we will be able to do this again in the near future.
Angela and I will be particularly busy in the next few days.
Personal thanks to KRDisneybound for her assistance and support.
I anticipate that this vacation will be the most special one I have ever experienced and I attribute this directly to you guys.
