I can't believe you people! Thank goodness that I couldn't sleep last night! I signed on and saw about Palo's. DW and I got on the computer at 6am and booked brunch and dinner.

I didn't see any High Teas listed. Are they all gone? When we had booked the brunch and dinner we got the message that our allotment of palo's reservations was full.

Did anyone get High Tea? Were we just too late?

We did call DCL this morning. I guess more openings will be available on the ship.

Being able to book was a huge relief! I had asked DCL three times in the past weeks about the possibility of on-line booking but was always told (even yesterday) that it wasn't available.

How did everyone do?

1. Reservations help please: Because DW and I are CMs, we are not allowed to book any Polo Reservations until the first day on the cruise after 3:00 pm. We are concerned that there will not be any left. Who would like to invite us to join them for a Palo Brunch on a sea day and an early Palo Dinner on a Sea day. We would appreciate it.

2. Seating and rotation. Are most Dis’er eating on first Dinner seating or Second and what rotation. We would like to at least be in the same room if possible and we don't get to ask until the day of the cruise.

3. The Dis’ers Entrepreneurs Club (Past, Present or future) are meeting Monday, 5/16 at 10:00 am in room 8532 courtesy of Jragland. (See post 11746 for details) Open to all interested Dis’ers. Possible Tax benefits.

I also guess you can call SSR and ask for Scott Hughes' room where we will leave a msg on the answering machine with the room number. Just in case the room reservation gets put in Lynn's name her name is Lynn Gurnee. That has happened a couple of times. That should cover about every thing.

It this is correct it could mean that we will after alter the times of both our planned sailaway parties.

I'd imagine that the reason 4:00 is listed is because that's the time that all passengers officially need to be onboard for the lifeboat drill.
 

Question about online booking?

Out of curiosity, are the party sizes dependent on the number of people in your room? For example, we're a family of three, so I didn't see any "5-6 guests" option. Just the 1-2 and 3-4. What if you're in two separate state rooms? How can you book a larger party? Or is that simply the limitation of early booking online? I was wondering because I've seen people looking to pair up with other people for a 4 person reservation. That makes me think that the options given are not based on the number of people in your room. But then why isn't there a 5-6 option?

Just trying to figure out how the system works. So far, it seems to be a fairly "smart" process. If you schedule a spa treatment at a certain time and then select another treatment at that time, the person who is already signed up at that time can't be selected again, but other guests can.
 
I need a favor from my May buddies ;)

Apparently that LE1000 super jumbo $75 "pin" (aka wall hanging) will only be sold on the May cruise.

I "need" one for myself. Lord only knows if anyone else in my group of 23 "needs" one, but I haven't asked them. ;)

If you are willing to stand in line on the ship and get me one, I'd be eternally greatful (and would obviously pay for it :) )

Everyone is really quiet tonight. Not a lot to catch up on. Everyone is finishing with their shopping, etc., I would guess.

Sounds like a Disney Shortcut for me... one food order for all the kitchens... Wouldn't you rather have food themed to the restaurants too??? Eating Parot Cay food in Animators Palate... This is not to please the guests... it's to make it easier for DCL...

Thanks! Right now, it will be enough for me to make it to the plane next Saturday... Everything hit big time at home and really at WORK... BIG HIGH EXEC meeting on Monday! Will have to go into work over the weekend to try to prepare... sister + nephew are in town visiting for Mother's Day over the weekend, and there are over 50 new additions to the list to make luggage tags :rotfl2: Somehow we always make it through the crunch!!!

The tables available for you to book are not dependent on how many are in your cabin. They had a good number for 1-2, 3-4, and 5-6 to choose from. The 1-2's just seemed to get snatched up the quickest. By the time I tried to book tea, all the 1-2's were gone, so I chose 3-4, figuring we'd find others to share with (and I was correct!). If you're not seeing any 5-6 options, that means that they're already booked.

Anybody else have problems with the Disneycruise.com website. I've registered but when I enter my Disney confirmation number with my date of birth to pull up my reservations, I don't get a response when I click continue. :sad2:

I've sent a message to the "feedback" site but haven't heard back yet. I booked through Dreams Unlimited but I have my confirmation number. Am I missing something else that I'm supposed to be doing?

The same thing initially happened to me. Go figure. I am the only one that schedules these things - only with my birthdate and information. And it won't come up with my b/date or info., just DH's.

Just another Disney thingy.................

THE GOOD NEWS

I spoke to Debbie at DCL today (thanks Steve (airtime247) for Debbie's name & number). I had to send her an email ASAP with our request so she could forward it to the Magic to see if they could accomodate us because breakfast isn't always served at Lumiere's. Well guess what....they said that while we couldn't make a reservation they would try to sit us all in the same area that morning!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!

NOW THE BAD NEWS

I had to give Debbie a head count and we are currently at 62 people (and 1 service dog) for the breakfast so unfortunately I can't accept any more requests. There is a possibility that others may be able to join us but they were a little surprised at the request for breakfast....oh yeah...they don't know we're showing up in our jammies!!!! (long story but was advised not to put that information in my email). So for the people that PM'd me today about joining the breakfast...I hope we can squeeze you in but I can't guarantee it...sorry...

I'm really sorry to have to cut off the breakfast and I hope you all understand.

I would have posted sooner but I had to wait until I got home as we are unable to access the internet from our workstations so while I'm at work I am at the mercy of one of our managers who lets me use her computer (she has access to the internet) when she steps out for a quick smoke.
