No banana dancing for me today. DH will have to be on the lookout while I head to WDW tomorrow for the Press Event.

Keep your eyes on the DIS. We'll be doing tons of Press Event updates. (Woo Hoo! Barenaked Ladies, Smash Mouth and Ashanti are performing.)

I hope that you people appreciate the sacrifice I'm making on your behalf by going to this. I feel it's my sworn duty to keep you informed of all the latest happenings at WDW.

Gotta pack some of those cruise clothes. I guess I'll break 'em in early....

This will be a staple for me too.. goes much further than the wine... I'm bringing a couple bottles of the Cruzan coconut rum and pineapple rum that we picked up on the Christmas cruise....the last of it unfortunately ...but it should last at least until Curacao till I can pick up some of that blue stuff....... and replace that with Kahlua and tequila once we hit Mexico...

If anyone wants to see a cat 9...we're willing to keep our room clean until the tour is over. We're in 2552. Also what type of ID do we need to bring?

Elaine, Kay is asleep. I just called and woke her up. Plan is to have everyone bring their disboard ID. Also, You must be registered. This is a small attempt to maintain security. We only want people we can track going into our rooms.
I will be letting Kay know the category of each of the rooms. Sure would like to see a deck one. I plan on lowering category in the future, not now though.
Celeste has also been keeping in touch with me on this topic. Likely will get her more involved if she is willing. Kay will have trouble in the walking part.

Just noticed that there is a scuba assisted snorkel adventure in the Living Seas. Have you ever had experience with this? I think it's called SNUBA... I'd like to try it sometime to fill in until we can get certified...

To make matters worse there are 2 different versions of the hubcap pin one for each cruise, just like the small ones the ship is pointed in a different direction.

Actually this is good news.... it means all 1000 will be on our cruise and that will mean better availability. At $65 I can't see them flying off the shelf that fast anyway.

For everyone on the progressive DIsser,,,,,
The assumption is that with registration, you are also willing to let the group see your room. It may be that we will not see all of the rooms and this is likely. There are , however, a number of rooms that have special differences. Please let Kay or me know if your room has a difference.
This may be the only time that we may have to personally see all of the types of rooms available. Lets make the most of it.
The procession will need to have an order . We will be working on it.
If you do not want your room seen, please let us know. It should not be a problem.
Kay and I are keeping in contact.

Nice surprise that I had more to add - Now all that has to be done is wait in that line for the "hubcap" pin.

I went to Salt Lake last year for my son's wedding, and HAD to go to Pace's before heading to the airport to come home... we bought a dozen and asked the flight attendants to keep them on ice so we could eat them all the way home... They are SOOOOOO GOOOOOOD!

Anyway, Bob and Linda, on 5/11 if you guys want to meet us at the Delta Crown Room is SLC between 8:00am and 10:00am I will be happy to buy you guys a beverage of your choice.

A dive trip in the making would be to Palau , Yap, and Chuuk (Truk Lagoon). With in the next two years maybe.

I like Barenaked Ladies, ouch!!! Lynn was looking over my shoulder.

Kay, our Stateroom is a Cat 5 and is available for viewing.

Peter, I gotta do some research on that one, basic laborer earned $1 - $1.50 per day. Paul Gauguin worked as a laborer for about one month and left for Martinique. In Martinique he was arrested for urinating in public.

Yes, the movie was filmed entirely in my hometown (and my house looks just like the Victorian one that they used after the funeral....NOT!!!!!!). We're still trying to figure out exactly where some scenes were filmed.

Seriously it was really cool to see stores & restaruants that we go to and how they changed some of the storefronts of businesses.

The final scene of the movie when the bus is driving down the street and there is a glass tower office building in the background ...this is the street I drive down every single morning to get to work.

We are staying at Pop Century Thursday and Friday nights- which is my son's favorite Disney hotel. (MY favorite- AKL)

We will have a rental car and are driving to the port. I wasn't planning on driving at the crack of dawn- but with all you crazy people hitting the parking lot early- I feel like i'm missing another party. Who knows what time we'll get there. (That is why I book the REAS package)

I want to hit all of the new rides!

absolutely nothing is wrong with deck 2. I happen to LOVE deck 2... we have stayed there 4 out of our 5 cruises now by choice. Less motion when the ship is a rockin'... and it's a short run up the steps to the PIN TRADING and shops! Of course it IS a bit longer way to the Spa and the drink station for my mixers...... but the stairs are good exercise!!
