SNUBA allows you to dive under the water with a long regulator hose from the tank that floats on the surface.

If anyone gets a chance to do SNUBA, it really is a kick! We did it last Jan '04 in St Thomas. I'd never done anything like that, and had a blast.

I have asthma and had to get a note from my doctor. We went down about 12 feet, and I had a great time! I know that I couldn't go much farther though.

This is absolutely FANTASTIC NEWS! I may not have my docs yet, but I'll put the banana to work for this announcement

It's long overdue that they came up with a real plan for doing this. No more stressing out over the shows/dinner or getting our picture taken when the pins are on sail.

Thanks Debbie! Sounds like the fairest way and will give everyone a chance to get at least one. (lines at the shops will be fun for 5 per day until sold out) Looks like I will be late to dinner though on port days.

This would be one dancing banana dude for everyone in our sailing party who got Doc's today!

I didn't even get around to checking the mail until 7:30 tonight - sheesh, you'd think our mail lady would recognize an important package and not just stuff it in the mailbox to sit unattended day.

(Ours went to the TA first and he sent it USPS Priority on to us)


Interesting news about the pins. I'm glad they listened to us.

This is fantastic news! One per person per day is great. I only wish they could be bought at one time rather than have to wait in line each day but I'll take it.

I'm also glad to see they changed the hours so people wouldn't be missing shows/meals just to get an early start waiting in line.

I'm curious as to which pins they will be having on 'at sea' days. I'm mainly wanting the port pins and the small replica of the hub cap. I'm still trying to justify getting the hub cap. Less than two weeks to talk myself into it!

Hi Everyone

Just my nightly Name Badge post. As of right now, I have made 320 name badges. I have everyone who is on the "Master List".

The name badges will be very important if you plan to attend any of the Disboard functions listed on the calendar. The name badge is what identifies you as a member of our group. We would hope to see everyone wearing their name badges for the wine tasting, room tour, scavenger hunt, etc.

So, for those of you who have not requested name badges - time is running out. Remember, the cutoff for name badges is May 5th. And at this point, don't assume that if you have sent your info into Jeff and Jen for the Master List that you get a name badge.
