According to my call to DCL................get this...................tickets are printed off in "batches" and according to what batch you were put in, that's when your tickets print.......................so I asked, does that mean the earlier I booked, the later batch I am in? Could be, they said......................

So I booked the 1st day, as soon as the cruise opened up on the ressie system. Anyone else out there from the 1st day who HASN'T gotten their docs yet?

Me Me ME!!!! So I guess because we paid less they think we won't mind if we get our tickets last

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Just talked with Debbie at DCL, she was on a wonderful vacation to Prague (sp?) for a soccer tournament. Said she had a great time. She said they are really working hard to fill all our requests and not leave anyone out.

The REAS package is full at the present time. However, if you are still interested, she says to call EVERYDAY to this number 800-511-1333 just in case someone cancels or doesn't pay!

No updates to release on entertainment, movies, schedules etc. They are still waiting.............................and waiting..................................OH MY GOSH, CLOSE YOUR EYES, WE ARE ON THE SHIP SAILING AWAY FROM PORT CANAVERAL...........................

DCL.........................STILL WAITING...........................AND WAITING...................................................... :rotfl2:

I'll email from the ship and give them the updates!!!! :rotfl:

Okay, back to work! (Debbie said my documents haven't printed yet............still waiting...................still waiting)

The story of my life!

Linda

So, my friends want to know.........................

if you are eating dinner on regular rotation......................

can your server get you a pizza from Palo's at dinner and bring it to you....say in Parrot Cay?

In regards to the ears, I think they have them at WDW too? I think I saw that on another board? If not- I have to stop by the Christmast Store in DTD on Thursday night (before the cruise) to pick up LOTS of personalized name badges.....ALL the nurses want them. I could pick one of those up for him and give it to someone who plans on running the race for the shirt.

Or...I am going to MK on Friday- I could get them there- if they are there.

Anyone at WDW last weekend? Did you see the ears?

Celeste -

Yes, the Golden Ears are everywhere at WDW. We saw them at DTD and a huge window display at Disney-MGM Studios. There seems to be quite a bit of merch available but didn't see any LE pins yet. They also have a special Happiest name bage which of course we had to get...

Hope this help!

Could someone do me a favor? I would love to have one the "Happiest" name badges, but I won't be at WDW before the cruise. Would someone mind getting one for me? I can send you the money in advance. Please PM me if you can help me out. Thanks!!! :flower:

Question for any of you who shipped wine (I mean, water) to the DCL warehouse....

DH took our 4 boxes to UPS yesterday and they wouldn't ship the wine box. When the sales person asked what was inside the box, he said I don't know, my wife packed it. She then took out the cutter and opened the box!? Didn't even ask, just opened it. Then said, we can't ship wine to Florida.

Anyone else have this happen?

I've repacked the box so it makes a little less noise (it is a styrofoam wine shipping box) and am going to try a Mailboxes, etc. Wish me luck! :wizard:

Lol Tiki girl....I was thinking the same thing. Maybe they are waiting to see if the rooms get filled so they know how many upgrades to give. Then we are the ones 1st in line(since we booked first). I know its a long shot....but hey I like to be positive. :rotfl:

PS. Tiki girl are you flying out on the 13th via Southwest airlines......if so maybe we will run into each other:)

You know, there is ALWAYS hope for an upgrade. I won't hold my breath for a Cat 1 though. :rotfl:

We are flying out on the 13th - that first non-stop into Orlando. I have a feeling that all the AZ cruisers will be on that plane. It will be the Repo. Express!

What do these "Happiest" name badges look like? Anyone got a link? I'm dying to pack something else into my luggage. :rotfl2:

Hi Kevin or Randall-I'm not sure who is typing.

Can you have your name put on these at DTD or just MK or MGM....any other spot?

Thanks!

Rob beat me to the answer, that will teach me to work, Today is every thing electric is on the fritz, copy machine and our office voice mail.

I took my box to a UPS store (the new Mailboxes, etc.) He did not ask me what was in the box. I did not volunteer. I don't have wine, I have vodka and kahlua -- got to have those black russians! My DH will carry his wine. I also had liquid Tide. I was concerned more about the liquid items than the alcohol. I read the US Post Office website and it specifically says no liquid.

Good luck. I am really hoping my box is in my stateroom when I arrive. I will be very unhappy if it is missing.

I packed four bottles of water, within decorative wine tubes, in a small appliance box. When I joked with the shipper( UPS Store, formerly Mail Boxes, Etc.), who is a friend of mine, that I was shipping wine to the ship she told me that their shipper couldn't do that.
I laughed and explained about the decorative wine tubes of water she said she knew the ones I was using...She had paid $6.00 each at Wal-Mart for a couple herself before finding out they were selling at Michael's for half that. Needless to say, off went my tall water bottles, unopened at this end and, I hope to see them arrive sparkling clear and unsipped at the other... I hope automatic coffee pots are not prohibited, too...

First things first
Welcome CmpkC & family!!! Jump in and join the fun... there's still time to sign up for a lot of things!

Yes, they have the golden Mickey ears at WDW. ($9.95) They do say Walt Disney World on them though... so don't know if that's an issue for anyone else but ME! I know, I know it's a GLOBAL celebration.. but I want them from DL... that's whose 50th it is!! They will probably have them on the ship too.

I think they are starting to release the countdown pins this week... then the others will be released May 5. There are SO many pins, all in the $10.95/$12.95 range. :faint: Then there are the JUMBO's... $25-$35 and one that's more.. can't remember exactly. Lots and lots and lots of pins. WAY too many IMHO. At least for WDW... Opening Day Soarin, Stunt Show and Cinderellabration pins will also go on sale 05/05/05. ...Guess it's no mystery why they're starting the celebration THAT day...
