The Pony Express came thru, I woke up to find our documents by our door,     came by UPS, and I did not have to sign to get them, in spite of the big note I had posted on the door saying to bang real hard to wake me up for a signature. Now I have to go back and read the 10 new pages of posts since noon yesterday! This might take 2 cups of coffee, instead of the normal 1 cup. I think Scott is disappointed that I cgot to post this message instead of him.

Congratulations Lynn!!! :cool1: :cool1:

Was the UPS man on horseback??? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I'm so happy for all the people who have gotten their documents! Yay for you! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I'll be pulling into my driveway eagerly tonight, hoping a package is lying on the front porch!

I did not get to see the horse as I was asleep when the doc's arrived.

It is now raining here, which means Scott will be driving thru snow on the mountain passes to get home.

Elaine, I also had the shorts out 2 days ago when it was 68 degrees, but yesterday it turned cold and windy (Kelli, glad to hear you had some sunshine). It is supposed to snow in the valley tonight, but turn warmer by Friday.

Now I need to check the mailbox and see if the Pony Express delivered our Pirate costumes, that would really make our day on top of our doc's.

Lynn

I am so dim-witted! I just noticed there are some folks from my old stomping grounds. Walnut Creek. I also noticed there are other Bay Area folks too. Goodness. This is nifty.

:sunny:

Happy Birthday Lynda!

Jeff and I are still here, we've got quite a few updates/ additions for the list to post, but haven't had the time. We did get the fabric pinned and cut for our pirate costumes and Jeff did buy his tux yesterday at Men's Warehouse (we figure with all the cruises and dinners at V&A he could use it)
We'll try to update this week before our trip to Disney but can't promise it....

Is this the only way to pre-order it -- by bidding on Ebay? Or is there a store where you can buy as many as you need?

You can order directly from DelivEars at DL at 800 760-3566 -

and be careful with the shipping. It is really steep. I got mine and they charged me $20.95 and I was out raged and called them. I did not ask for 4-5 day delivery and that is how they sent it.

Even the regular ground is very expensive. If I had to do it again, I would not and will not in the future.

Try MouseShoppe.com. Fair disclosure - DW and I own MouseShoppe. We tend to be a bit more expensive than DelivEars on the item, but are a lot cheeper on the shipping costs. We can also do embroidery, etc.

(Hoping I don't get nailed for advertising - I'm trying not to, but I hate seeing people get gouged by DL's shipping charges)

Wahoo! I did get my confirmation for the Bounty Adventure in Curaco. Very excited.

What patterns have you guys used? JoAnn's has Simplicity patterns on sale this week (5 for $5) what a deal.!

I can't find a pattern I like -- I'm searching for a simple skirt and for my DD and vest for DS. I think I can 'wing' the rest.

Any help??

Thank.s

It's a beautiful 80 degrees here in Canada today...so many people at work had sandals on (I would have worn mine but don't want to get them dirty before the cruise!!! :rotfl: ) I'm just home from work and I'm sitting here in my shorts & tshirt thinking about doing some yard work after dinner because the warm weather will not last it is expected to drop to 60 tomorrow and 55 on Thursday with rain expected both days.

Glad to see that you got your docs. I'm sure Scott will be excited when he comes home.

Can't wait to meet you & Scott & everyone else...only 24 more days!!!!!!

Elaine

Kevin & Randall

Okay...inquiring minds want to know....did you guys call DCL (or DVC)? Is Kevin cruisin' with us or will we be waving to him from the ship :rotfl: ?????

Seriously, I hope it was just an oversight Kevin and that your documents are in the mail.

Elaine
