We just got back from our first Jimmy Buffett concert in San Jose, CA. We had a great time but unfortunately didn't get a chance to meet anyone from Disboards. I hope Kara, Eric, and Michael (Prince Charming) had a great time as well!
After wrestling through the crowd of inebriated Parrotheads to get to the souvenir stands, I think I'm finally ready to deal with the chaos of buying pins on the Magic!
I'm jealous of everyone who got their docs. Congrats! For some reason mail seems to take longer to get to our neck of the woods than anywhere else on the planet (except for those bills, of course!)
Thanks for the link to the Google map for L.A. If you want to see something really cool, do a search for Port Canaveral, FL. It goes to the port. Zoom in all the way and check out the ship to the far left. It might look familiar!
Anyway, I found this neat timelapse video of the Panama Canal. This was taken from the bridge of the Radiance of the Seas. It is a little over 6MB so it may take a while if you have a slow connection.

Enjoy!

That is such a cool link takes you from the Atlantic to the Pacific in under 2 minutes. Amazed at how many other ships are in the canal at the same time and passing each other very closely.
