I know we don't see our UPS guy until about 4:00 pm each day, can't believe that no one gets morning deliveries from these guys. Do they have that much overnight stuff to keep them busy all morning?

When the map loads click the up arrow to move up till you can see the two cruise ship and the bridge, that is where we will dock.

Tom: That is the coolest map. Very interesting the way we can move it around and see the whole area. Like Liz said, glad you are doing the driving.

Oh...you work nights!!!
I have done everything in my power to stay off nights. I have worked nights a few times---MAN does it get cold at 3am, with the lack of sleep...
The longest shift I ever worked was 20- after I walked down the hallway and went to bed in an empty patient room and slept for a while before driving home.

I bet the NICU is busier at nights---all those babies with day/night confusion!

Hope you slept well (writing this with the hopes you won't be reading it until you have slept post shift)

I know we don't see our UPS guy until about 4:00 pm each day, can't believe that no one gets morning deliveries from these guys. Do they have that much overnight stuff to keep them busy all morning?

My UPS guy usually comes around 11:30 am....and he always rings the doorbell, puts the package on my doorstep, and is gone in about 10 seconds. In my neighborhood, they don't even stay long enough for me to answer the door(even if I'm right next to the door...lol). Its like a drop and run.

For my past 2 cruises I have always gotten my docs via USPS(booked once w/ costco and once w/ Dreams. I wonder why some get Fed ex, UPS, ect.

Tom, great map it confirmed where I thought we would dock on my GPS Blue Charts. Thanks. Do you still need your Thomas Guild to navigate OC and LA.

Hope the UPS guy knocks hard enough to wake Lynn up should ours arrive today. I get to travel home tomorrow. Then travel again on Thrusday.

I sent Tony a PM about this one.
I was going to do the shotover thing, but when I read Roberto's description of the smell... decided that was a no go for me. He toned it down a bit for us here on the Dis - but I had seen his thread on cruise critic earlier and it sounded pretty yucky. I figured this might be a good alternative.

Still wish river rafting was an option... but my disappointment was pretty short lived since:

We're all going on a 14 day Disney cruise in less than 4 weeks!

So Far it is just us. I am hoping to book this later this week, so if there are any more takers...?

Do you work 12's? I do- 7 am to 7pm...(Friday, Saturday, and Sunday- but I got this Sunday off due to low census)
---I had SICK people this weekend----I couldn't sleep and kept on calling work to check on them.

Take Benadryl---do something or your gonna have to stay up or you'll get messed up even more.

There are two wine partys planned. Scott is hosting a get together on Friday, May 13 at around 4:00pm at the SSR resort at DisneyWorld. Then we are still planning an onboard wine party - but the time and place for that one is still pending.

Just got back from a two night trip with our crew. We only took 3 outfits for the kids and 2 for DH and myself- and our bag was 50 pounds..... How the heck am I going to get enough clothes for the cruise into bags we can reasonably shlep into the airport with three preschool/infant children?? I'm thinking we bring enough clothes for a 5 day trip and plan on doing laundry twice. With the kids clothes, we can't reasonably expect to go more than 3 or 4 days without washing anyway. My 3 yr old is very fond of both ketchup and the shirt = napkin theory, so if I wait any longer I might as well just throw the clothes out. This is not going to be easy!

sometinmes check in at the curb can be an option it has for us they had no scale.and a couple of bucks later and i told the guy it was heavy he just put a sticker on it and off it went..

That's 'cause they make all the deliveries to Canada first thing in the morning Our docs arrived around 10:30 am.

We got the girls i-pod mini's for Christmas.
My techie friend said I could get a much better MP3 for less money if I went with another brand.
But you've seen the blinkie flippy floppy phenomenon at work here... same deal with teens and i-pods.
They are pretty stylin'.
They have been great, in fact I'm going to get one for myself. I'm sticking with an i-pod just to keep everything compatible.
We got the girls cables so they can play their song lists on their stereo systems too. Works great!

we also just got an IPOD. 20 g works fine with everything we have windows related.. also got an In Motion speaker system set i pod in it and you can plug it in Or Take it with You Get This For one pennie on ebay and $10.00 shipping and it worked fine..

Well, FedEx has come and gone twice up and down the street and no UPS yet. Garbage truck and recycle truck come and gone and still no UPS. Guess UPS will bring up the rear.

In the mail I did get a video from DVC in a large envelope. That was a tease!!!

I'm guessing people will bring/purchase items for this get together on the ship......sounds like it should be fun. We'd love to go to the precruise party---but there are SO many new rides we want to try AND we have a six year old with us.

Has anyone every drove to PC and done luggage there verses DCL transport. DH and I are renting a car- I'm nervous about what to do with the luggage when we get there....

If we did that, wonder if a CM would make us take it down?? The yellow police tape would be good. Anyone have some of it? Bring it along, I'll string it up for us.
