RE Pins – My thoughts, while I am not a pin collector. I would like a set as a remembrance to go with my map and lithographs. There should be a means by which we (those sailing on the cruise) can get a set without the hassle of standing in a line. Such were my comments to DCL.

Now I believe I will stand in a line to get a lithograph signed by Ducky.

I also noted we have been at this thread a while as I checked the master list I noted that Lynn and I are actually a year older than listed.

No, that's not until June when we hold our Golf Tournament there. Great place!

I'm in Park City at The Canyons Resort, where the Today Show did their daily broadcasts from during the 2002 Winter Olympics. It is a great resort. Snowed today. Heard it rained all day in Salt Lake too.

Disney Store....gee, what is THAT?!?!?! We never had any in Wyoming, but they closed all of them in Colorado, too. NO clue where the closest one would be, but it is NOT worth a day long trip.....

Oh, well, I'll have to look at WDW before the cruise and see if there's something I can't live without......

Boise Idaho for us. Went and visited my mom and dad last summer and was shocked when The Disney Store still existed in their mall after they had closed all of ours in Salt Lake City. Been there twice since!

I waved to the Holiday Inn Express today for you. Went over to the new Albertson's built just down the road past the Outlet Stores.

Booking Palo Would not Be Fun As you do not know your Dining Rotation Til You Get on The Ship..

I don't know. We usually book Palo based on menu rather than which dining room we're in that night. And who knows if and when we'll get any menu info. Might not be included in that first navigator, so it wouldn't help with ressies anyway.

Seriously, thanks for the count. I never know what day it is. Going to WDW in two weeks and then when I get home, less than two weeks before I leave again. I like it that way.

We had a rain snow mix yesterday.

Linda, did not know the Disney Stores were no more in SLC. Kinda surprising. We sometimes use the Crater there at Homestead for our Open Water dives.

Georgie, honestly if I haven’t done those same things I would be lying.

We like Palo’s and we like the menu of the regular dining spots. I just cannot eat as much as I used to, so Palo’s is not a real special thing for me. I guess now I eat to live rather than living to eat.

Scott, I think this past year (boy was it a doosey!) Both Joe and I were living to eat... that's what the scale says!!!


Hopefully we will learn that we can also eat to live!!! Definitely the better slant than living to eat!

IT'S TAX DAY FOR US TOO!!!

We both just signed ours and are leaving to put them in the mail box! The returns are so HEAVY it will take both of us to do this! What we owed would make a hefty downpayment on another cruise!

Thinking of you and your family and ALL you have to do to get ready for this great cruise! Hang in there!

Dan we got our taxes done last week. Our accountant recommended we use QuickBooks Pro 2005. Will install it this AM, any users out there with tips????

Looking cloudy out there this morn. Up early to get the house tidied up as we have an academic portion of a SCUBA class today. Lynn will be off from work in about half an hour and then she will try to get some sleep.

We are so glad to have a stateroom number. Who is our neighbor in 7040??? Didn’t see it on the master list but noted it on the ship diagram. Noticed Peter, Serena, and Bob are near by.

Is anyone out there getting his or her Disney Visa rewards for the cruise? I called and asked about them and was advised to call after April 15, to make the request, that is the end of the billing cycle, and would maximize the rewards.

Peter, I can neither con firm nor deny any knowledge of the aforementioned post.

I got my rewards card about a month ago. It is good until December 31st. Once you use your card up and want to add more to it, you just call the rewards center and they add it to the existing card. I didn't know that until I called about 2 weeks ago. Nice feature. That way you don't have to wait on another card. Wonder why you have to wait on yours. Never had that happen.

Will be busy a good part of the day. Teaching some people how to sell on E-bay. Been doing that lately. It is so easy - but they don't want to do it themselves.

Yes, I am taking a BUNCH of reward points. If you have not requested a card, you can do that now. It took about 10 days for the card to arrive. I moved $20 to the card (the minimum). I'll bring the card with me to port and move the rest over the phone. You can call in (or via the web site) and move over the remaining points. I have $700 (YES, we have done some renovations on the house and I have been charging away!). I don't want to take the chance of losing the $700 card, so I'll move the points via the phone while I'm standing at Guest Services. As long as you have the card, the movement of points is pretty quick.

My statement drops on the 14th of the month. So, I'll be able to get the last set of points on Sunday May 15.
