I am sorry I went on about this so much. It made us think a lot more about the security of our house and with this trip coming up how we can keep it safe while we are gone. Thanks for listening guys. Please keep this family in your thoughts & prayers. I just hope they are going to be Ok emotionally and the police catch the guys.

Wow, I would Say that, I Would Not Worry about my Home while im gone. as long as whole family is together, homes can be fixed or taken care of when you Return... as long As We have our Family..

You are right Peter. I got spooked by this bad thing that happened to close to home. The house and its (non-living) contents are replacable.

I joked this morning we could slightly reduce the dogs food while we are gone, keep them a little bit more hungry in case we have unexpected visitors.

I have a question that I'm sure you guys will be able to answer for me. Where exactly in L.A. do we dock? I've been looking on a map of California and I understand there are a couple of ports near LA but I can't seen to see them on the map?

Peter good and very true thoughts about family.

Let your neighbors know when you will be away and in turn they should do the same, so you can keep an eye on each other’s homes. Also see if you local PD has a house check service. Neighbor hood watch programs work as that is what being a good neighbor is all about. We always let our neighbors know when we are gone and who if anyone should be around. See what services a local Community Service Officer might be able to provide.

We had a Dis Meet here in Hamilton Ontario today and I met some people who are on the "ship of fools" in August. They were really nice, as was everyone else that I met.

I can't wait to meet everyone in 82 days!!!!!

Just got back from a week in Jamaica and WDW. Had over 40 pages to read to catch up.

We left last Saturday and knew we would not be here for shore excursions. On Friday before we left I emailed Disney Cruise Line told them the situation and asked them if they could hold our request until Monday when the excursions opened up. Forgot about it while on the trip, got home tonight and there is a confirmation on our fax machine, got all the excursions that we wanted. Was so thrilled.

Picked up a nice bottle of Jamaican wine for the wine tasting.

Was at Pirates of the Carribean on Friday and they have alot of new pirate stuff for sale, picked up a few more new things.

For the sail-away party we are bringing keychains with a small flip-flop (sandal) on the end.

Now just need to order t-shirts.

I found the first tshirt design on Zazzle but I cannot find the reposition this tshirt. Does anyone know where I can find it.

Wanted the Zazzle site since I can put the design on the back which is not offered on the cafepress site unless you get long sleeves.

Ken had requested the same thing a few pages back.
My understanding is that cafe press won't allow any changes or additions once the items are set up - so offering that option would mean going through the whole set-up process again.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

BTW,
We just got in from seeing the traveling Lion King show. It was AMAZING!

I'm really not a big Disney Visa fan - but they had a pre-sale opportunity that gave us the chance to buy tickets even before our Arts Patron Membership. Gotta love that. We had great seats!

danicaw: I know it can be hard after a break in. My house was broken into when I was 10 years old. It is hard loosing your sense of security. I still don't sleep well. It did teach me not to worry about material things. As long as I have my family...I'm living well.

As we are in the UK we didnt think that we would be able to order the shirts from the US or it would be too much hassle.

So what we did was use a variation of the Pin design,as we were able to download the graphic for that ,which we have redesigned slightly to work better on a shirt .Hope the original designer of the pin (not sure who that was ) doesnt mind too much.

Awaiting collection of our shirts on Wednesday or so of this week.Cost here for a one off design was equal to about us $ 24.00 per shirt,is that expensive?

Welcome back Tap and Dap, We did the same with our excursion requests, and it worked for us. Hope you had a great trip. Catching up here was a chore, but got it done. No real scheduled times away until we leave, so will stay in the loop.

Got our t-shirts ordered, must have missed that the design could be put on the back with zazzel, oh well.

Glad to have the day off to get rested from vacation and scuba class all day yesterday.

Kelli is here in Jackson and will be meeting here for breakfast at 6:30. I think I will ask here is she has been on the boards, and when she says no I will make up some story like the DCL reservation computer crashed, or there will be no dining rotation. Will see how I feel about teasing her J.

Peter, you mentioned chat tonight at 8:30 eastern time I assume. Will that be on EnnisB site?
