It was separate as far as I can remember. Actually, when I did they were offering a discount of that along with something else. I was in the RF room, and there were people coming around asking if anyone was interested. You lie down on a mat, and some leads are attached - send an electric pulse or something through your body. Based on your height and weight (which you supply) and the info obtained from the reader, it calculates everything from how much water you're intaking (whether you need to be drinking more), how much muscle mass and body fat you have, what your ideal weight should be, etc. I found it quite informative. I'll probably do it again on this cruise to see how I've progressed.

It sounds really cool. I'd really be interested in doing this also. Is it called a body analysis?

Has anyone heard anything about crossing paths with the Wonder on our way to CC. The Wonder will be leaving CC to return to Port Canaveral on Saturday as we depart to CC. If both ships leave around 5PM, we could cross paths at 10-11PM at sea. It would be a great way to send the Magic off to the West coast with a goodby from the Wonder. Anyone with a DCL contact that might know anything? Just a thought. Alex

Should I be concerned that I cannot pull up my reservation on the DCL website? I never seem to have luck with that!!

We are still waffeling on excursions. Stone Island (non-Disney) is a go but other than that we are still undecided. Would like to do the River Rafting but what exactly is a catagory 2 rapid?? How can we go to Acapulco and NOT see the cliff divers?? Too many decisions...LOL

I've brought this subject up in the general DCL forum a couple of times. Seems the general concenses there was that it just wasn't going to happen.

Wish I was wrong, but at least my current attitude wil prevent me from being disapointed.

Ya never know, there always seems to be a barracuda hanging out there. If you look close atb teh pic I posted you can see the ladder to our boat. There were about 4-5 of them and they were getting a little close.

Gotta find pirate outfits for us and get the T-Shirts ordered. Soo much to do.

Here is an idea for the DIS Navigators, We could have as an example a Deck 6 port side person, a Deck 6 starboard side person etc. who could distribute them. Just an idea from the guy who has no Idea what stateroom he will be in as I live in the state of GTY Status.

Seaulater = I hereby volunteer to make the Disboard Navigator for this cruise. Now, I'm not coming up with an original idea here, but credit goes to Mark and Mary from the 10 day Christmas Cruise who made the Navigator and delivered to everyone's "fish" for when they arrived at their stateroom door.

So, I think we had a couple of volunteers to deliver, so I will make up the navigator (for everything we have scheduled prior to the cruise), print, bring, and deliver to everyone. I will also bring extras for the sailaway party(ies) and all that good stuff.
What Mary did is post the Navigator before we left on her website and then people could print out if they wanted. I did, and it was handy.
So here's what it will list:
1. People's names; location and whether they are playing tag or not..
2. Each day and the schedule of disboard activities for that day.
3. A place for Notes
4. Anything else that might be deemed important.

I know this will come as a complete surprise to everyone, but one of my interests is improv comedy. Since DCL took the improv out of Off-Beat, it's up to us to bring improv back to the Magic. So, I'll be "hosting" some improv games on one of the at sea days TBD. Anyone interested? No experience necessary. It's just for fun. Audience members needed, too, but a minimum drink requirement may be imposed to enhance the comedic value of participants.

NejTheLion = I was thinking about offering to put together a DVD of the cruise - collecting photos and possibly video footage from the cruisers afterwards, making some music videos, slideshows, etc. I'm in the process of desiging and putting up a website doing this, already having done quite a few for assorted family functions. I can make them all spiffy - real cases, color covers, direct color printing on the discs. Ron Jons and the Radisson, no official meets have been Set up as of yet but Look for folks all day around the pool area's also several others at the Airport hyatt and plans are in works.

Hey you divers out there doing some of diving shore excursions:

Don’t forget to bring your C-cards. (Certification Cards) OK OK OK here is the deal.

Here is what I can do as a back up and, if you are PADI Certified. If you want to PM your name as it appears on C-Card and your birthday(not necessary but, if handy your Certification Number), I can access you C-Card info and make a copy of what we call Dive Check. I could then bring these along as a backup for you. Hows that for redundancy in diving.

Looking back at an old spa sheet, I think it's the Metabolism Test. That sounds the closest of any of the consultations. But when you sign up, I guess you could describe it to make sure. And it also wasn't very long. The 30 minutes listed for that one sounds right. The Lifestyle consultation and the nutrition consultation sound like different things to me.

The boards were down last night when I was going to catch up and post, and I am glad. Because I would have had an even harder time falling asleep if I had been able to post and think about what has happened in our neighborhood.

A family on the next street over were the victims of a home invasion on Friday night. My SIL live a few door down from them and we spent the day at there house yesterday so heard about it. Around 11 pm on Friday night 3 guys in camouflage and Kevlar vests kicked in their door. The wife and husband were both downstairs and their DD (3 or 4 yrs) was asleep on the couch downstairs. Apparently they are gun owners and the wife took a shot at the intruders, which scared them away. For some reason the police took the husband to the station for a while, don't know the reasons. And they haven't found the guys yet.
These people are totally shaken up. They have a plywood front door right now. And I have no idea how they got to sleep last night.

The neighborhood thinks it was a targeted attack. Apparently last summer there was some guys hanging around a lot. And this husband had at least one verbal encounter with them. I can't believe this happened where we live.
When it happened my SIL was nursing her DD and heard some weird pounding sounds. Thought it was here older DD kicking in bed, she also heard a pop but couldn't get up to see what was going on. My DS who's window is much closer to where things happened, woke up crying around that same time on Friday night and we just assumed he had a bad dream or something. It scared me to think he might have heard it.

I am sorry I went on about this so much. It made us think a lot more about the security of our house and with this trip coming up how we can keep it safe while we are gone. Thanks for listening guys. Please keep this family in your thoughts & prayers. I just hope they are going to be Ok emotionally and the police catch the guys.
