Billy has not been on a banana boat ride. I wanted him to do the wild side but the cm told me he MUST be 13 and he is only 12 and 11months at the time of the cruise. ZZZZZZZZZZZZ, HUH, OH. Where was I ? We are doing the city tour at Curacao. Me thinks that you should be able to get that. I am curious about curacao,,,,,, whatever. ARRRRRRRRRR, I am turning into pirate mode. Let's see, I am doing the panama canal excursion, you know , ride the ship. Eco tour at Castaway for two doubles. HMMMMMMM,,,,,,,, OH, Acapulco, Is there a restarant and cliff divers? I think we signed up. Next, Mazatlan, stone island, I think that Kristen will be able to ride a horse there. Was it Leslie that clued me in? Must be tired. Cabo, Not sure I care but I think we sighned(deliberate) up for something. Possibly bungee jumping from the side of the ship. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ Are we at Disneyland yet??????

Ok, and I just KNOW you're all intensly interested in my tiresome access issues but I had a little strategy session with a neighbor friend and I was encouraged by him to go ahead and sign up for the excursions that I thought I'd like to do...remember, no swinging from the trees...so that the issue would remain access rather than space available. So I did...and got all I wanted...Anyone is welcome to join in and I sincerely hope that others from this thread will be there, too...Please, Kelli?

Glass Bottom Boat (C-11)...11:15-12:45 then lunch at Cookies...if they've cleaned up the huge sand spill that makes the road inaccessible to power vehicles like scooters ...past the Post Office... The Boat itself? with Cash? Should be interesting...

Curacao:
Highlights Tour (CR07...8:50-12:20

Mazatlan:
City Tour and Show (MZ01....8:30-3:00)

Acapulco:
Cliff Diver Show and Restaurant (AC01...10:15-3:15

Cabo San Lucas
Resort Pool Getaway (CL13....9:35-2:35

and that's the story. I missed the bungee jumping, the topless night club show and the counting grains of sand beach day...I'll be on the ship for those plus any of the ones I signed up for that DCL cannot make accessible regardless of my best efforts to open them up.

I would love to see your suite...I never got around to seeing one on the 10-day cruise, although I DID meet the ship Doctor one fine day...AND I had an in-depth conversation with the on-board magician about training his show duck. Now that I have had time to reflect on that cruise I can say that I had many unscheduled encounters while, at the same time I was missing the ones I signed up for....need a bigger watch...

OK...so I called at 6am yesterday...right on the money...and the very first request I make is for parasailing on CC the nice CM says it is not in the system...she goes to check with her supervisor...comes back and says it is SOLD OUT!!!!! HUH...How...I check my watch it is only 10 after 6am. I ask her how that could be...she says it just shows all times are sold out This was the only excurison my MOM really really wanted to do...so disappointing...I'm going to keep calling to see if someone cancels

Just called and booked our excursions...no waiting and was never on hold.
I was shocked but happy.

We got what we wanted for Curacao and Mazatlan and are planning on doing Acapulco and Cabo on our own.
Also ordered our Stateroom celebration decorations, which are going to come home with us and help us decorate for our DS 2nd birthday party...its a cruise themed party.

Jeff just booked everything without a problem. We're doing the kayak/ snorkel in cabo, tequila, saddles, etc in mazatlan.. we're diving with scott in curacao, so once he gets back I'll know more about that

I am happy to see that most of you are getting the excursions that you want.

Today is the day I am telling me family that we are booked on this cruise. It has been a long 9 months of secret keeping. I hope that my surprise is met with the enthusiasm of which I have dreamed. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Oh yeah! I remember reading about your Valentine's surprise! When I surprised our family for the 10 day Christmas Cruise, they were all screaming and crying at the same time. It was tons of fun!

so continuing on. I guess I will have to wait and book Robert for the snorkel, once we are on ship.

Acapulco...We want to go on the Papagayo River Rafting Adventure, but of course we can't book until we are on the ship. Are they thinking there won't be any water in the river? cuz then my question is, if you can go river rafting, then how can you go on the Shot Over Jet Boat Ride? I tentatively booked that Shot Over Jet Ride, but will wait til it gets closer to see if I can find on the internet the river levels and whether that's going to happen, cuz we really want to do that. Shari is suppose to come river rafting with us and so is Peter (I think that's who it was)

Mazatlan..booked the Deer island Kayak Adventure for 7:30 a.m., but we might change cuz I think we might do Stone Island for the day.

Cabo..Robert Scuba Diving Odyssey at 9:25 a.m., Linda spend money shopping

There wasn't a single excursion "sold out". Like I said, I think probably some of the excursions haven't been loaded or they had problems yesterday, just like the 10 day Christmas Cruise.

If you had a problem, I suggest you get back on the phone and call again and ask for a supervisor, because they seem to get it fixed.

They are faxing me a confirmation!

OOOOOH did anybody notice we finally hit page 300? (depending on how you view) And we're almost at post 4500...moving right along...

Anyone looking for luggage? I purchase 'disposable' luggage as the airlines do their best to kill my bags. I found some very simple, rolling duffles at Target half price a couple of weeks ago. $15 for a 30" rolling duffle.

Last night I found a nice $30 garment bag at Wal Mart - it was American Tourister and looked like they were just beginning to carry that piece/group. I'm against the rolling garment bags because they add so much weight. This bag was very simple and sturdy ready to be stuffed with as much dry-cleaned clothing and suits as possible! This bag looks better quality than the $30 bag at Target, which surprised me. Walmart may be cheaper but not always better.

Finally, we booked our return flight this weekend. JetBlue was having a sale so we are coming back 6/2 which is Thursday. I wanted to fly back Friday AM but the sale wasn't good on that day so Thursday night will be fine. We plan to do 4 nights in Anaheim and 1 night/2 days in LA.

Thanks for your help Linda, I tried three different supervisors and they can pull it up and ask me what time I want but when they go to put the information in is says sold out. The last sup. I talked with said to keep trying because people cancel.
