2005 Unofficial Guide

I'm a disney newbie and going for first time in 2006. I think the book is very clear, and it didn't scare me off. However, it did make me look at the time I was going and had me checking the calendar for president's weekend, so I could make sure I avoided it. As far as the hotel layouts I agree that they are confusing, me and DH were both looking at the maps and going Huh?

I will be on the look out for the 2005 edition.

For the uninitiated, this is the book you read along with the Birnbaum book. Birnbaum is great for comprehensiveness and organization. The Unofficial is great for the straight scoop; tips; and humor. :D

Gabrielle, that is a great point and I agree. Take the bias and unbias opinions together for great planning.

For the record, I intend to purchase the 2005 edition when it comes out because I do appreciate the non-bias opinions that cannot be found in the Unofficial Guide.

Huh? 2005 edition of which book?

Just got done pre ordering my 2005 copy. :teeth:
I buy the new one every year. I gave my family my older copies of the Guide to prepare for the upcoming Reilly Grand Gathering in January. I also ordered for my sisters, the Unofficial Guide with Kids.

I have never read the UG w/kids since I don't have any.

Do Tell..........How is it compared the the regular UG?
