*2005* Christmas Tree Swap- CLOSED

This is similar to the tree I was planning on getting - and the price is phenomenal! it's at http://www.save-on-crafts.com/alchtr3ftpr5.html and they have more styles, prelit, unlit, etc.

What do you think?

I like it! I also thought of looking at places that will offer free shipping and have it sent directly to the resort.

I SOOOOO love this board. DH and I will be at POFQ 12/9 - 12/16. We went last December with my parents and surprised them with a tree. It's just a necessary item to have in the room during the holidays! Please add us to the list.

Now, for something from the LONE STAR STATE to put on the tree. Hmmm....something with horns.... :teeth:

thank you, thank you, thank you -

(can you tell I'm excited!)

I will check with the Polynesian Concierge to see if I order one of these pre-lit trees if I can have it delivered and stored there until we arrive.

Let me know what they say. I could do the same at the GF Concierge.

What an excellent idea! I've really enjoyed your t-shirt ideas, and now this. You are a very creative person. Thank you so much for sharing.

My son & I will be at POR, but instead of participating in the tree exchange, I'm going to do something with special significance for us - something I probably wouldn't have thought of it except for reading this thread. My late husband & I had a Christmas wedding. While most of the Christmas trees at the club were full size & real, there was one 3 ft. artificial tree that the florist used as decoration on a gift table (gifts for my guests). This little tree has been lovingly preserved - all of its light, velvet ribbons & ornaments are intact. Since my husband passed away 8 years ago this little tree holds even more significance. So I think I will bring it with us to POR. I ran the idea by my son & he thinks it's a Great idea. That way a tangible memory of my husband can help add to the magic of our first holiday trip to Disney. I'm sure it will bring us even more pixie dust than usual! Thank you again for this thread and for all the magic you've spread throughout the DIS!!!

Little Sazzo and I will be at the Poly CL the same time as you! :flower: That is really neat! Did you find out what the concierge said about shipping the tree? Maybe I could ship one down as well! I'll look for you in the lounge! :earsgirl:

Triplefigs,
If the concierge says that shipping a tree would be okay, then maybe I could take mine to Kath1210 at the CR when Little Sazzo and I check-out on 12/23! :goodvibes This was a great idea, as Little Sazzo, at only 3, is singing Christmas carols already! :teeth:

Thanks for the great thought about the Christmas tree swap, triplefigs! :grouphug:

Ok, you made me cry. How very sweet and romantic. I know you DH is in Heaven smiling down knowing how very much you and your son love him and miss him. I think that's a lovely idea. Merry Christmas early!

Ho, Ho, Ho! It's Disney Christmas time! Singing Fa La La La La in the background...

Hiya, I will pick up a tree, drop off a tree, or buy a tree. So what ever is necessary.

Count me in as supplying a tree! :goodvibes Little Sazzo and I are going to make some ornaments to decorate it! :earsgirl:

In my best singing voice, with Little Sazzo's Hallmark Mr. & Mrs. Snowman as backup, "We wish you a Merry Christmas..." :grouphug:

There are not enough DISers on this list so I am bumping... :bounce:

Update: We changed our dates, and will be arriving at WL late on December 17. Thanks!
