HI Gail. The DIS boards are owned by Pete Werner, who I believe owns Dreams Unlimited travel. They pay for the site, and the web space and usage must be huge. I don't blame them for finding a way to block other TA's links. Diana

Wow it was great talking to you last evening Gail. To be able to put a voice with the name was great.
I like tksbasket's idea of letting the 13-25 yo cruisers meet. But what about those of us over 25?? I have a DD & DS that fall into the 13-25 category and they would definately like to meet somone to avoid having to hang out with each other. Who would like to plan one???
This Friday we have a rodeo for the March of Dimes at our fair grounds. I think that should be pretty exciting. I wish it was at WDW then I would really be looking forward to it.

Gail,
Have a great time on the cruise this Sunday. I'm sooooo jealous of you. We haven't been in almost a year and I hate not going this year. We had gone 4 years in a row. But, Australia was too good a deal to pass up for this year so the cruise must wait until 1218/04.

Wasn't someone planning an adult brunch at Palo?Originally posted by tksbaskets
Did I say 12 to 25?? oops, typing too quickly. I meant 12-15. It is a tough age I think....too old for the lab, a bit young for many common ground activities. Now if you have a few others your same age in the common ground perhaps it would be lots more fun!
As for the over 15 crowd (*I* fit into that!) I think it would be really fun to meet too. DH doesn't get the whole 'board' thing (he can work ebay pretty well though!) but I think he would enjoy meeting other Disney CL addictsWasn't someone planning an adult brunch at Palo?
Only about 500 days to go! I'll have to start a countdown clock again if I remember how... (until then I'll just look at Matt's clock)

catspjmas - glad to hear you might be joining us. I'm another Chicago area cruiser. Welcome aboard.
I'm a big fan of Dreams Unlimited. We are using them for this cruise and have used them for two others in the past (the others we booked on points). Sounds like others have gotten great deals elsewhere and that's cool, but I would suggest if anyone is thinking of it to at least check with Dreams and give them a chance.
We don't have kids so I'm probably the last one to ask on this, but I can tell you what they did on our May cruise. A lof the kids got pen pails (or e-mail pals) and when they finally got to meet they had goody bags for each other with things like postcards, pens, etc. from their home. I think this would work for all the different age groups. If someone is looking for pen pals I will be happy to put that in the newsletter. Just let me know.
