:flower: HI ALL :flower:

Thank you for the congratulations. DS has worked for a lot of years (off & on) to get his Black Belt - I now have set a goal for mine. I didn't ever think that would be possible but after watching DS and the others test it really made me want to continue.

:grouphug: Mary I'm with you!! I hope we all are still posting on this thread for years to come. We have all formed a lot of friendships :grouphug:

Thank you, Mary......right back at ya!!!

And...thank YOU....for doing so much to make it great!!!!!!!!

Oh boy, I had to rescue us from the bottom of PAGE 2! That's never happened before!

Congrats to the Gooses (Mom & Son) on the new belts! Are you wearing it with your nurse's uniform, Vicki?

So in case I haven't said it in a while - a great big thank you to this group for being who you are. Our December 2004 cruise was one that will live in our memories and my scrapbook for many years to come. We started in June 2003 as strangers but spent 18 months getting to know each other. Those are participated on this thread and those who we got to share the cruise with a very special group.

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: Thanks! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Mary.......if it wasn't for you I wouldn't have enjoyed that cruise half as much.

Your hard work and efforts with the newsletters, webpage, pins etc. inspired people and encouraged them to communicate with one another and become one big happy family.
The number of posts on this thread is proof of that.

Personally it was great for me to get to know many of you prior to sailing.
Many of them bent over backwards for me, a complete stranger.
It was much appreciated, it will always be remembered.

So......NO.......Thank you MARY

AND While I'm at it......thanks go out to Charlotte for the MVMCP tickets.....thanks to Linda for making DD's pirate dress.........thanks to GaRry and Vicki for the DIS Polo shirts........thanks to Jim and Kevin for the great dive trip......thanks to Angie for sending that special Disney pin to DD.......thanks to Virgil for the Ornaments......... thanks to David and his family for being such great table mates...........and thanks to everyone here for making our vacation the best ever.

Gus

Gus & Stacey - that was very sweet, but my sentiments were not to get praise for myself. We all did our own thing for the good of the group and that's what I think made it so great.

I really enjoyed the newsletters and photo gallery, but if no one participated what would they be - just blank pages on the computer.

I feel so blessed to be a part of this group and excited that I'll be sailing with some of you again. Linda and Karen and their families are on the Member Cruise with us and there is a great big group going on the 5/27/06 cruise. I hope as we continue to sail DCL that we get to meet many of the 12/18 cruisers again - what a super bunch!

I also agree with what everyone has said. What a great group of people!!!

I happened to see Gregg's name as the last poster on their upcoming 10 day. I popped on because I was going to post congrats on his belt, but it was a race for post 1500, and if I had posted, I would have pirated it! So I decided to come and check the old thread first, then I'll go back and tell Gregg congrats! Wouldn't want to have a reputation on that thread, huh??

Things are mostly the same here. Our house is just about done. We should move in the first week of June. Man, will I be glad when that's over!!!! Scouts is getting pretty busy, with lots of activities. DD had her spring choir concert last night. She had a solo and did a nice job.

Hey, Lisa....you could have taken over the Evil Twin Lisa title! Pirate away! It would have been really funny!!!!!!!!

GaRry .....I checked into the Chistmas 2006 cruise.
The kids are still in school for the entire week after departing.
The west coast trip may be interesting.
Mexico and Los Angeles.......places we have not been to yet. I wonder what Disneyland is like??????
It goes there during the summer while the kids are on vacation. Might be better for us.

Sorry to hear about DS's injury.

How many are going on the '06 Christmas cruise?
Mind you it would be very nice to see some of the DISers again. You never know....we might win a lottery.

Gus

Hi Gus!

There are a number of 10 day cruisers going on the Dec. 06 cruise. There are also a number of us going on the May 27, 2006 West Coast cruise with two stops of Castaway Cay. Of course there are also some lucky ones like Stacey doing both!

To answer your Disneyland question - it is wonderful! A much smaller experience than WDW. You can walk between Disneyland and California Adventure. It is Walt's original park and full of charm. Mark and I are headed out there this December.

YEP mine are still in school too they will need to stay up to date on there work well ds will

its just hard to pass up, that should be my retirement gift too me.
 :cool1:

have a great night all

Thanks Mary for the Disneyland info.

I just know that one day we will go on another Disney cruise.
DW just got back from a cruise in Europe today. She was on vacation with her parents and her sister.
She said DCL by far, was so much better for activities and shows.
And the rooms were very very small.
Her parents had a balcony, which she said was awesome...........I think when we go with Disney next time, it will be with a balcony.

GaRry...........pulling our DD out of school means lots of homework for us, as parents.
When she studies for tests, we have to study for tests as well. Do you know what I mean? I hope one day that will change.
Does your DS do his work from school while on board or does he catch up when he gets back?

Gus

Time for a bump. We are falling on the second page.

You can tell Virgil and Stacey are in LV.

Gus, we LOVE Disneyland. We prefer it to the Magic Kingdom. The rest of WDW is awesome, but if we had to pick between MK and DL it is DL hands down for us. We also have really enjoyed DCA and we like that the 2 parks are just a short walk apart. We are headed down that way the week of June 20. Gotta celebrate the 50th. We are meeting lots of family there. They are coming from AZ, CO, OR of course, and some of them live in So. Cal. Should be lots of fun. We are booked on 2 cruises, 7 day Eastern 12/10/05 and 7 day Western 12/09/06. Lots of family will be joining us in 2006 - 14 of us so far.
