We went into the casino at the Mariott on Curacao.....but none of the others. They're really small....and I hated playing with guilders. I couldn't tell if I was winning or losing!
There is a casino on Bonaire, but it's at one of the hotels near the airport, so we never went there.
Congrats to you guys though! That always makes it nice!!


Gus & Mary......talking about the May '06.....I guess for once I'm really happy that our kids get out of school early. It sure messed up our plans for this summer. But at least I'm guaranteed that it won't mess up the Double Scoop!!

Why when do they get out of school, Stacey?

Mine get out at the end of June.

You're so welcome!

We *were* one of the lucky people going on the next 10 day. We rebooked for it while onboard for the last 10 day. We ended up talking about it on the long, long, long, long drive home. (did I mention it was a long drive?) We decided to cancel the reservation. NOTHING will top the first 10 day and we really HATED the idea of having Christmas day be the LAST day. Who can enjoy Christmas when you have to pack and rush and be sad because of disembarkation?

If you can't join the 10 day, think about the Double Scoop thread. I'd like to pin trade with Jessica some more!!!

We will be heading down to the local park this morning for a Memorial Day event that is put on by the VFW and American Legion. We watched the Washington DC events on PBS yesterday and there was not a dry eye in this house. Again, thank you to all the veterans for your incredible sacrifices for my freedom. Amazing.

Hi Angie! Have fun. Wish I were going over soon. Have to wait until August, and then it's just a quick weekend. Better than nothing, though!

Gus, sorry I didn't answer sooner, we were sailing. My kids get out of school around the 20th of May. But they go back, this year anyway, on the 11th of August. Weird schedule.
