Karen, I'm so sorry to hear about Grandma Lightbulb. She will be in my prayers.

There's something wrong with Maggie, so don't feel guilty. Too much inbreeding or something. You've given her your best, she shouldn't act like that with you.

OhhhhhhMinnie......I am so sorry about Maggie and Grandma Lightbulb!
Trust me, I know that heartbreak.........I will be praying too.

And while we are on the subject (of praying).....my friend Sharon (sklimuck on the boards) the "Banfi" friend? Her husband had a seizure, and then later several more, last Friday. The doctors at Mayo have had him in a drug-induced coma while they try to find out what's wrong. The MRI today showed a mass on his brain. They don't know yet if it is a tumor, or something viral. He is having surgery tomorrow to biopsy it.
Please pray for strength for Sharon, and healing for Ken. They are really great people.

Pretty lousy week all the way around. It is pouring rain, has been raining all day. I am hoping the creek doesn't flood, or I won't be getting to my Mom's. She is going home by ambulance on Saturday. Dad said the therapy is going well...and he can tell that she's feeling better, because she is crabby. You'd have to know them to get it! LOL

Guess I will take my sorry self to bed.
Again, Karen...I know....but Mark is right, she will probably get that way with the kids sooner or later. Jordan has the scars to prove that it does happen.
I'm so sorry.
Prayers for Mike's mom....
Stacey

I got up all of my pictures, and the video I put together from the trip..if you want to see its in the link in my profile! man..it brings back my memories..I want to be back on the magic :(

Karen & Mike - so sorry to hear about everything going on at home. You are in our thoughts and prayers! I think it might be time to get rid of Maggie. Yes it might mean some tears at home now, but there will be more tears if anything happens to one of the kids or to you. As for Grandma Lightbulb she is definately in my prayers. I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer 15 years ago so totally understand that.

Take care guys and know that we are here if you need us. Karen - you aren't dumping - you're venting and that's a good thing!

Just a quick hello. I did it. I couldn't help myself. I posted on the main boards about the missed ports. I have no self control.

Boaguy...the link didn't work for me.

Please keep Ken and Sharon in your prayers.

Great, now you made me go over there and do the same thing! Oh well, call me mean and obnoxious. ;)

the letter has gone to the breeder.

I know....it is sooo hard...at least you will (hopefully/probably) know where she is. I'm just hoping now for some "closure" on Molly....we still don't know.

Wehad to take two Aussie pups to a farm a little over a year ago. The male was vicious to Molly, and the female (litter mates) went right along with him. They were totally out of control. I cried and cried, they were gorgeous dogs....but I couldn't let them do that to Molly, she'd been here longer. (not that biting is acceptable at all).
You mentioned Maggie "biting the hand that feeds her"....but you are also the hand that disciplines her.....she was trying to be the boss.
I'm really sorry.......

Wow, you really have a full plate Karen! Given all the posts you had on the boards and then your tag line - she really pushed you to this point. Like it was said earlier - after you she may nip and hurt one of the kids. You have done the right thing - I am sure someday another little pup will need a home and you'll be able to take them in!

Hugs and prayers go out to you and your family - Grandma Light Bulb :grouphug:

Karen, sorry for the news. But I agree you did the right thing.

I haven't checked in on the missed ports wine in the last few days. My gut feel is that if they had gone to Grand Cayman, they would have been upset because the damage had limited their options there.

Karen - I'm sorry for the news... But I do think that with all you've been through this is the correct decision....

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you regarding Mike's mom....

Karen, sorry to hear about all the issues.

I think you are correct in your actions with the Beast. You really have tried and just can't have an aggressive animal around the kids. It's tough, but better than dealing with the issue after the Beast went after one of the kids.

Sorry to hear about Grandma. We will keep her in our prayers. :grouphug:

Hi Guys
  let's keep dancin'

Karen sorry to hear about the dog. I know it isn't an easy decision but it also isn't worth the risk to your children or those of anyone that come to visit.
We'll keep Mike's mom in prayer.

Stacey - I'll keep your friends Ken and Sharon in prayer also.

:cold: this would be me here in the frozen north :cold:
2 weeks until :sunny: when we head to WDW with the :cheer2: :cheer2: team.

I'll try to keep in touch!! :grouphug:

Today I got a kit from DCL for a welcome to the Castaway Club. Well....actually it was addressed to my 18 month old grandson with two Castaway Cards inside. Figure that one out!!

Anyway, CD inside that said "When you're stranded on dry land, let your imagination sail away"

Put in CD, got all this great background music from Castaway Cay and a great screen saver. Put it up on my computer and ta-da, if I don't touch my computer for 10 minutes all of a sudden I am off cruising with the wind through my hair and the caribbean music playing in the background. Ah....to be on the ship again................only 106 more days!

Are we going to get to dive?

At least let us know when you are coming down so we can run over to WDW for a post-cruie meet.

Jim this trip is just Vanessa & I and her 17 team mates and 15 parents. (& I don't dive)
I think Garry & gregg may try to come down the week of Feb 20th.
