Everyone gets these things. That is the way that ship line works. It caters to a different market. And, frankly, I would prefer to pay up front and not worry about all of the added charges. It may be the same amount in the end, but I "worry" more about the charges when it is a choice each time. (Example - do I want this $3 cup of coffee or not. Oh yea - All specialty coffees are included as well)

sounds like the way to travel - I agree in the end it is probably all the same - but I too would not like to think of a bill in the end!!

Mike was worried this Radisson cruise would be all "fancy-schmancy." Like he would HAVE to have a tux for formal night and could not get by with his sportcoat/tie combo as on DCL. Pampering for a week is great, but not if you feel like you just "don't belong."

Oh, he doesn't have a tux. But you're right. I should get him a tux and then he'll probably sell for more. (kinda like re-doing your bath or kitchen...good for resale value)

Although I'm not sure how Mike would manage financially without the monthly check my dad sends him. He sends a check to ALL of his son-in-laws as a bribe so they keep his daughters from moving back home.....
