Here I am, all alone again.

We didn't get the kids anything. I was dead serious about the cruise being their gift.
Actually, I could swear there was one thing...but I don't know where I put them. (One for each...and I know it's not packed, heavy and breakable) Oh well.
They each got something for Jay. And they had some things from our friends. Nothing from the rest of the family yet. This could go on for days.

I watched.
I very rarely get gifts.
I'm a sad individual.
BUT MY COUNTDOWN TIMER SAYS FOUR DAYS TO PARADISE!!!! WHAT MORE COULD A GIRL ASK FOR????

I just remembered where those two gifts are. Guess I'll have to dig them out and wrap them tomorrow. I could swear I did that already. I am losing my mind.

The seamstress called about a half an hour ago. Jay's pants are done. She's great!I told her I wouldn't get over to her house to pick them up until about 2:00, I'll be at the salon all day, trying to get beautiful......she didn't feel too sorry for me.
Have you noticed how more and more they aren't calling them "Beauty Shops"? Too many lawsuits for false advertising.

Stacey, I was wondering today when the kid will get old enough to start thinking about the joy of giving. Seems like that kicks in MUCH later, at this age it's "all about me!" Alicia's name was drawn for the raffle at the talent show Saturday. She got to choose between a lovely turquoise and silver pendant (that Mom would have liked) or some rhinestone bangle bracelets that she liked. Guess which one she chose?

I'm sure you'll see the bracelets on the cruise. Hope they aren't made of lead.

Well, let's see.....Megan is almost 24....she said she IS getting me something...but hasn't yet...so we will do our Christmas when we get back....IF.....they bought gifts by then!!
I guess I will just have to cherish forever all the little things their Kindergarten teachers had them make me!!

Isn't that the truth! I have a piece of artwork on my office wall, from 3rd grade. It's a pic of Alicia with a poem she wrote about all the hugs and kisses I gave her. Yes, it's priceless.

I am on the extended 10-day cruise. Mine is 100 days I am one of the crew members aboard the ship.

That was the one and only activity we had prebooked and yes, we got a voice message that it was cancelled.

Hi Jeri.........

I am saddened about the news of the cancellation.
I will call Dolphin Discovery tommorrow.
I am booked on my own and not through Disney.
I am getting a really bad feeling about this.

I'll try not to let it spoil the rest of the vacation, if it is cancelled.

DD does not know about it so she won't be upset.

I'll have to look on the bright side.........maybe I can scuba dive after all.
Time to look for my Naui card and log book.
