But I did tell Mike this was better than him saying the wrong line, crying, wetting himself and running off the stage!!! :teleport:

Of course, KT was very upset about the missed line. She now firmly believes that Nick has ruined her reputation at the Phoenix Theater and she'll have NO chance of ever getting a part!!

Guys, not a confession, but I want to ward off thoughts you may have....

This dog has been a KILLER on me.

Told you , it's our Schipperke all over again. We gave up after two years.

But remember, we only do this for our children. We get no joy out of hauling all this gear, planning the trips, training. We get joy out of watching our children.

The sacrafice we make for our children.

Yea, what HE said!!!! :cool1: :cool1:

And where will the children be while you and Garry are diving with the Manatees, hmmm?

Alicia will want to see them, too, next summer.

Sorry, but the manatees are only here during the winter. They migrate to the warm spring water during the winter. The rest of the year they are in the intercoastal, gulf, etc.

To dive with the manatee it needs to be during Jan & Feb. GaRy is lucky in that it has been cold. Hopefully it has been cold enough to force the manatee into the spring. If not, it is just a cold dive.

I know a family who just recently put their daschound( darn spelling) up for adoption in rescue. He bit, snapped, snarled...... kids and adults.
I can't imagine he will get adopted.

This may have already been answered here(if so, sorry for the duplication) but does anyone know or have a good guess as to the cost of the soda package for this cruise?

There is no more soda package.

There is a free soda station at the drink station on deck 9 and at Cookies BBQ on CC.

However, note that soda at bars is NOT free. Make sure the kids know this.

I have been lucky with dogs. Jesse and Sam are my 4th and 5th dogs as an adult and they have all been even tempered and obedient. Well, maybe Sam can be a bit of a free spirit

I'm sorry the puppy's being such a handful. Some can very well be. We had one that spent as long as possible in a playpen due to its obnoxiousness.

What kind is it again? I've forgotten.

She's a flat coated retriever. Retrievers tend to be a bit high strung anyway (edited to add "as puppies") But also she's still fighting for dominance--remember, she was dominant pup in the litter. Mike has more control over her. She doesn't bite him as much and is much more calm and loving around him. Around me she gets all worked up and crazed. I guess I bring out the worst in her!

I have one comment, try to be as gruff as possible, they can sense you being soft on them and will get rambunctious very quickly. They make 2 year old kids look patient.

When did they start the free soda station? Its a great idea but we were on the 1/24/04 cruise and it was still the package? Why would anyone buy a soda at the bar then?

Gosh, I want to say I first heard about it around April. I believe our May cruise had free soda, but honestly, I don't remember b/c I don't drink that much of it. Hmmm...

Someone would buy a soda at the bar if say, they were watching a show in one of the lounges (Diversions--deck 3, forward, for example) and they didn't want to schlep all the way up to the free drink station (deck 9, aft)

It'd be purely a convenience thing.

Rock band. http://www.switchfoot.com/

Google is my friend :)

Dang Doc beat me to it. I was playing around on that site. Decent music, lots of lead guitar, good rhythm, the usual teen angst lyrics. Glad to see that hasn't changed since I was there. :)

That makes sense. It would be quite a distance from the theatre. Have you heard anything about special surprises for this cruise? Debbie mentioned there would be some but wouldn't go any further.

UNTIL YOU ARE AT THE PORT AND THEY SAY.........WHY THE ********** DOES THIS GUY HAVE 26 BOTTLES OF WINE AND WHY ARE HIS MINOR CHILDREN BACKPACKING IT IN FOR HIM?

Of course, we will be right behind you in check-in, so you can just blame it on the "OTHER SIDE OF THE FAMILY"
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Did not realize it but we have 20 bottles.... we had just kept putting them in a carton and finally counted....LOL Can I borrow someone's kids??
