Try Dove bars. VERY similar, but not Mickey shaped. :)

Sorry if this is enabling! ;)
Hmm missed this.. I had a Mickey bar at WDW the day after the cruise.. Yanno what? They are NOT the same!! The ones on the ship are waaaay better. Ship - bigger and coated in milk chocolate. Parks - MUCH smaller and I think semi-sweet chocolate.

I'd compare the shipboard one more to a DQ bar than a Dove bar.

Can I bring you one in August? When I get back from the Mexican Riviera cruise?
Bring me one too! We only live down the road from Angie!

This is great... but looks like an AWFUL lot of work... I think it's easier to just go on the cruise again....LOL
It is a lot of work. That's why that is all we had for dinner. DGSs thought that was an awesome dinner. DH was surprised, DD warmed some left overs to go with hers.

The Neptune more resembles a traditional washer/dryer setup but is a front loader.

The two that are more or less the same machine are the

Whirlpool Duet HT and the Kenmore Elite HE3t

My opinion is simply that any of these are superior to traditional top loaders.
Sadly, I think it would be kinda fun to have a window. But seriously, are they all basically the same? I'm having trouble deciding. Jay doesn't like all the LCD push buttons...but I think they all have them.

Certainly! You don't think I'd come all the way up there, and not visit you too???

The Kenmore doesn't have the LCD. Check it out at your "local Sears"

Does this mean we're NOT dieting????

I have not stopped gorging yet!

I said to myself after the trip I'd start to slow down and stop eating so much.
Well, it turns out that we had to catch up on the dinners that we missed while on the "Magic" with family and my work etc.
I feel like I weigh a million pounds.
Stop the insanity.......

Tomorrow, I'll start.

BTW, I got tagged twice.

AND

Stacey.................talked to Dolphin Fantaseas again today.
They keep on saying I will get refunded and will call me back.
They have done neither.

I'm giving up on them and am calling VISA tomorrow for my refund.
What really burns me is that if it wasn't for this thread, we wouldn't have known it was closed for business.
We would have jumped in a cab in Antigua and travelled there to find it closed.
There was not ONE phone call from them to advise us about the cancelation.

That was the only disappointment about the whole trip. ( Not DCL's fault )

Can't wait for the next cruise, hopefully sometime real soon.

Last night at dinner we all confused up to being hunger by 9 am. Stomachs were growling. Ate afternoon snack with lunch.....guess our bodies need to work back slowly into our old eating habits.

I did decide that once we are back to pre-cruise weight we are going to celebrate with Flourless chocolate cake and Banfi. That is a treat worth working for. Only 8.5 pounds to go!

Yep, I'm another one who's body has decided that more than 2 hours after eating means another meal is in order! I'm trying to fill those cravings with low carb things while I get back to "normal". I did only gain about 3.5 pounds though. All those morning walks and stair climbs must have worked cause I certainly didn't limit the intake!!!

House update. When we went by the lot, hoping to see the beginnings of framing, instead we saw a muddy hole with a bit of concrete in the bottom. All they did in the 3 1/2 weeks we were away was dig the basement and pour the footers. They have officially slipped completion to early April. Our relator's contacted our buyers relator to see how long he'll extend our rent-back, but we may end up moving into the Navy Lodge for a month or so. It's about the size of a DVC studio, so we'll get really cozy!

I've started going through my pictures (all 260 of them!). They mostly came out really well. My only bummer is that when I had shutters download my memory card, it only transferred the .jpeg files, so the really awesome video clips I had of Lion King got deleted. It was my own fault for not double checking before I cleared the card, but I really really really liked that video! I had some of Hercules too, but the Lion King video was the guy juggling fire and it was just so awesome. :( :( :(

Oh well. Off to check the boards, and maybe I'll get another trip report installment done today. I posted embarkation day yesterday. Warning: it's really long! Like that would surprise anyone here ;)

Good, Lisa, I love long, detailed trip reports. I'll look for it!

I haven't been terribly hungry, but still seem to be tired. Could be the diet of rich foods, once we get back to healthier eating I should perk up.

We just booked feb 18, 2006 - 7 day eastern

kids are off that week from school for intersession during presidents week

unfortunately that trip can no way compare to this past trip

do you believe it, I can't find a cruise meet thread for that trip - its only 13 months away!!! What are these people thinking !!!

Don't they know we have very little time for newsletters, buttons, door magnets, wine parties, DIS photo, DIS get together, womans nite out, tag, coordinating the seating in the restaurants, etc...... so little time !!!!!

LOL

Nothing will ever compare ..... thanks to all of you who helped make this past vacation so special and memorable!

Yep, I'm still irritated that they never called or e-mailed. I checked my statement, and no credit.....e-mailed them today, guess I will call them for good measure. Keep me posted, okay?
Thanks, Stacey

I have been getting hungry more often, too. Luckily (I guess) since I've had this cold, I haven't eaten much. Nothing tastes good, so there's no point in eating. So I have lost the two pounds I gained on the cruise, plus a couple more.
I don't make New Year's resolutions, but I did decide to go back to Curves. It worked well for me. If I do lose weight, at least I won't have to buy new clothes for the Mexican Riviera, I have plenty that were too small for Christmas!!:guilty:

One last thing for now.....I went to my User CP to delete the 10 night in my sig and add the May '06....I can't find where to do that, now that they have re-vamped everything. Techies, help!!

If you click UserCP one of the selections on the left side is 'Edit Signature'. Just click that and a edit window should appear.

Oh, and you need to turn off the 'advanced editor' if you have that on in 'edit options' or the countdowns don't show for some reason.

Don't you mean the big S-Mart ??? :rotfl: :rotfl:

Anyway.... FYI I saw those Duet ones at Costco yesterday! When did this thread degenerate into dirty laundry talk?? LOL

David - I booked the Jan 28, 2006 western and can't find a thread. I am afraid to start one since I joined the 5/27/06 thread. I must stay away from the 'puter for a few hours a day.

Stacey - I really like Curves, been a member since March '04. Weight is only down 15 lbs but I am more flexible and my numbers, trigylerides, chloesterole, etc (spelling doesn't count, right) have gone to the good side!
