:bday: Jim.. :cake:

okay, one day late but better than never:blush:

Mary: Congrats on finishing your scrapbook... I haven't even started yet...:rotfl: I think the stuff I collected on board is still in the suitcase...

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. Ohiominne and kids came down to celebrate. We ended up going to WDW today. Not great weather, but the lies were short.

Ohiominne is now off to spend a few days with Grandma Lightbulb.

I haven't either. I am hoping to do this over spring break when I things slow down a bit (I hope). Lisa should be able to help me unless, she does so well at the State Level 8 Gymnastic's Meet that she will have to train for Regionals over the holidays (at least there shouldn't be homework that week - I hope). I hope she does make Regionals, but the commute to the gym will occur that week, rather than a week off. I have my pictures printed and everything collected, I just need to do the actual assembly.

:goodvibes GOOD LUCK TO LISA IN THE MEET!!! :goodvibes

You are at least ahead of the game... I don't even know where my stuff is....LOL:teeth: One of these days I will get organized.... yeah, right.........

It's nice to see that you all haven't lost your touch! :rotfl2:

Staying busy here...taxes...kids...work...same old same old.

Update for anyone who isn't on one of the other cruises that I posted this on:
Megan & Pete are moving to an apartment NOT owned by Mom & Dad (anxious to see how long that will last) and might not be able to take the little dog with them. So....I may have a fluffy little critter running around here. I'm getting more used to the idea of having him, but was finally just getting used to NOT having any pets. Not quite sure how I feel about that. It does make it harder to take vacations.....but I miss having someone to talk to who understands me!

Hi Sue, thanks for asking about Elvis. He's hanging in there, no news. He's still on the medication to reduce the fluid around his lungs, and he feels OK. Don't know what is causing it yet, but will probably get him an ultrasound soon.

Stacey, that's a good way to get a new puppy. Already in the family, already housebroken, and he already knows you. What breed is he?

And how did Jordan manage to break her toe at ballet? I was watching Alicia's Jazz trio rehearse last night. Two girls and a guy, with lifts etc. The other girl (smaller than Alicia) and guy do a trick where he picks her up by the arm and ankle, she grabs her other foot in a split, and he swings her around. Sort of like a death spiral in ice skating, except she is airborne. There's occasional droppage, and last night it re-opened a scab over a floor burn from a previous drop. Blood and lots of drama. Glad Alicia isn't doing this, there would be even more drama!

I am glad my nieces played in the school bands. The biggest danger came just b4 half time and the end of the game when the band was lined up to perform. Band parents would scream 'don't hit the instruments'.

:rotfl: :rotfl:

I forget how she said she did it. Her stories are always soooo long that I give up listening halfway through. Bad Mommy. Something about a spin of some sort...and then landing on it. There was drama there, too.

Sue...the broken toe is nothing....Jared has broken his nose playing baseball...twice. Baseball practice has just started. He has an appointment with the eye doctor on Friday. There may be a connection:scratchin

I call those stories; Shaggy Dog stories, your hair can grow long as a shaggy dog before they are done..... :earseek:

Tell Jarad, glasses will make him look smarter!! :teeth:

I was telling Jay today that I feel sorry for the kid. Glasses, braces this summer, and zits. :sad2: Good thing at least a couple of those are only temporary.
Jordan has never had a blemish....I told her that Jared's skin is "payback" for being the skinny one.:rotfl: Same with me and my brothers...and they have full heads of grey hair now, too! ;)

I'll have to remember "Shaggy Dog Stories"....that's funny. One time I asked her to just give me the Reader's Digest Condensed version, and she looked at me like I had two heads.:confused3
