Thank you Mary. I didn't recognize the name and didn't click on the link.

Hey guys! It's very easy to report a problem. Use that little triangle thingie on the left under the user name. (I think that's actually the official name of it.) ;)

And for heaven's sakes, don't quote it, LOL!! That only spreads the spam to your post, which I know isn't what you you intend to do.

Now please return to your regularly scheduled program. pirate:

I guess I must have missed something........ Now my curiousity is killing me. What's up?

No more rain yesterday or last night...but it's coming. Pretty cloudy out there. Guess I will just stay put and do my work that I brought home.
I'm going to start having "mall withdrawals" soon. I haven't been since before the cruise! :earseek:

Stacey - someone with just 3 posts to their name posted a link to a web site that I can only assume was not family friendly. I didn't open it to find out. I notified the webmasters using the feature Webmaster Regina spoke about (but from one of the other threads). Guess it must have been bad enough they came to all three threads to get rid of the link. It's all good.

Stacey - I have what may be a very stupid question. I know it doesn't rain that much by you, but when it does it seems to cause lots of havoc. Wouldn't it pay to put a bridge in over the creek so you can get though it or over it even in the rain?

I'm glad you took care of that before I was dumb enough to open it. Thank you!

And that's not a stupid question at all. We get asked that alot.
What we did do a few years ago, was to make a concrete crossing to keep the bottom of the creek from washing out.
It's private property, there are five families that live back here. Not only is the road that goes across the creek our private property, it's not even recognized as a road as far as the town is concerned. SO.........if we wanted a bridge, we would have to pay for it, and the liability insurance on a bridge would be astronomical. It's economically impossible...but I sure do wish we could! Not to mention all of the hoops we'd have to jump through just to get permission to do it.
Luckily, this type of flooding is what they call the Ten Years' Flood....and the last time it flooded this bad for this long, it was January of 1993.

No rain here!
Just bright warm sunshine!

Paul

Sunny there.....rainy here....something is wrong with this picture! :umbrella: :sunny: :teleport:

It's pretty weird we are getting the So. Cal. weather and you guys are getting our rain.
Not that I'm complaining!

Paul

Paul, I guess you guys are entitled to a little nice weather every now and then. Enjoy!
It's pouring here again. The news said just now that it may rain all week and into the weekend. I see that I am either going to get a lot of projects done around here, go insane, or go to a hotel........it wouldn't be the first time we had to do that.

Paul....I've lost track...when is your next cruise, or do you have one scheduled?

OMG - found us on page 2!!!!!!!!!!! :scared1:

 to Paul.

Karen - sent you a pm!

Hi all - just checking in to say "hi" - Also, for some reason my machine reset itself and signed me off. Since I keep it on 24/7 - I had to sign back in and I forgot my password - what a mess - finally remembered it and this time I wrote it down -only took about a dozen tries before one worked. Guess I had a senior moment.
I have only posted on this thread once before - seems to be some good conversation each day
But all is well now - have a good night all
:badpc:

Paul: going on the repo cruise alone?? did someone have to back out and not go? That's not good. You'll have many friends to be with tho
I'll pack my bags and go with you :sad2:

I actually got to go out today...the creek wasn't too bad....in the big truck.

Got a few things done, but mostly just enjoyed being FREE!

We had the weirdest thing tonight....I took Jordan to dance at 5:15...there was a big black rain cloud, and a lot of thunder...continual thunder, it didn't end.
I went into the pizza place to get a "to go" order....and all of a sudden the sky just opened up. It was HAIL! It hailed like nothing I've seen in a long, long, time. We ended up with a good 2" or more, covering the ground, cars....the bed of Jay's pickup had a ton of it!
Four tv helicopters showed up within minutes....it was really cool. Especially since I was in the center of town, watching everyone's reaction. The teens went out and stood in it and then seemed confused that it hurt! :confused3 Mine probably would have been out there, too, but she was already in class.

At least we will remember THIS winter!!:earseek:

Maybe Paul bought out the ship so that 12/18 cruisers can have a reunion. Isn't that nice? :)
