Just reading all this has made me gain five pounds! How do you guys eat so well and stay so thin??? NO FAIR!!!!
See, I have this metabolism problem...............................that's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Nothing new here, if ya know what I mean.

Doing laundry today so that tomorrow while the DH is home we can put all the shelves and junk back into my laundry room. It is all still sitting on our front porch. Not the shelves, just the junk.

I'm thinking that Disney must KNOW that Leslie is the PIN DIVA! No pins here, either.

Kevin, you used Jay's strategy....he has short legs! (think about that for a second) LOL

I'm outta here....but not RUNNING!

Well, just back from the fabric store so I can have a project for tomorrow - This morning was Very interesting - I figured I would head out to the suppermarket bright and early - got there around quarter to eight - parking lot was Jammed Packed!!! Went into it - it was like the end of the world - now mind you I usually go every Sat morning - the weather forcast for Sat and Sunday is Snow - we are supposed to get 30 - 36 inches here in Boston and it is starting now. But, people were acting like the food store were going to close down for a month! One women had 3 shopping carts - she was pushing 1 and pulling 2 - she had them bungie corded together!!! I mean heck - if she had that many to by for you would think someone would go to the store to help her shop! It was just so out of control!!! People were complaining to the clerks because the shelves were empty and the response was between last night and this morning we can't fill them fast enought and I Really believe them!!!

Well on the way home from the fabric store I drove by 2 supermarkets and their lots were empty - so the second one I drove in to see if there was a sign to explain - there was - Sorry Closed, No Milk, No Bread, No Meat, No Produce - due to Snow Storm!

Now the second part of my story is - I tried to change Chris' flight back to Long Beach - I did this at 6am this morning - first tried the internet and then I started calling - first JetBlue, the airline he is booked on then AmericaWest and American - All flights were booked but they said to try this afternoon - well did that right before I got on line - and guess what - most of the flights right now that are due to fly out of Logan Tonight are already cancelled and tomorrow is questionable - as they can't get the equipment/planes into Logan because of this storm and then they may not be able to get them out on Sunday!

What a MESS!!!!

Well - that is what is going on here in Boston!

Okay - so tonight I don't know if it will be a Wine night or an Amaretto Sour night...................hmmmmm.......................???? :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1

Youzer! What a mess! We had a forcasted 4-8 inches, but I had stocked up a couple of days ago and was set, so didn't have to go out in the mess. We ended up getting 1/2 inch!

My vote, btw, would be both....amaretto sour AND wine!!!

I really only needed a couple of things - dry goods - so it wasn't that big of a deal for me - mainly flour and eggs wanted to make a double batch of raviolis for tommorrow - but it was amusing watching people around the store!!

And you know Both sounds like a good idea right now :drinking1 :drinking1 !!

I'm sure you've heard this, but I read in the paper this morning that the terrorist scare in Boston was a scam. At least that's one less thing to worry about! Not much you can do about snow, I guess.

That would be a serious dent in the outside activities!! I can't imagine what the roads would look like.........

:Pinkbounc The storm missed us. I have @ 8" on the ground and that is it. The 2nd 'low' was too far out to sea to get Maryland. Sorry for Philly and beyond, sounds like they will really get it.

I live in Montgomery County and we're supposed to be getting anywhere from 5 to 14 inches. My mom said it was supposed to snow like crazy between 3 and 5 but nothing happened then. :sad2: i don't know how much we have...maybe around 3-6?

We had 8+ of snow as of 7 am this morning, that's now at least doubled since round #2 hit, and it's that dry snow so the 30 mph winds are blowing it everyplace. Yeesh. Everyone east of us is going to get plain hammered by this one, it's very nasty.

I'm getting ready to sit down to my homemade chicken noodle soup. Made fresh bread again today. And Texas sheet cake to take to a friend's house tomorrow, but there's just a *bit* too much, so I might have to eat a couple pieces tonight!!! :)

Then out into the bitter cold to see Seussical the Musical!

Our original forcast was for 4-8 inches. We got less than an inch. Not worth the hype.

Wait for it... that evil little thing called lake effect has yet to reach you......

Therese - people are nuts in your neck of the woods! :earseek:

Do they really think it'll take that month to remove the snow? There are times to stock up but that extreme. Hope it gets better for you.
