From Lisa to KT:

My Mom says you can eat at our table with Matt and I when they are at Palo's if it is ok with your Mom and Dad. That will be on Thursday night. I hope it's ok with them. Lisa

Serious note here. If you have 5 minutes I urge you to visit this site and watch the video http://www.bobbywarns.com/ It is a tribute to a young man who was a United States Marine and was killed in Irag. It is a very moving tribute and I think he speaks not only to him but to all who are giving their lives for our freedom.

We are all very, very blessed to be able to go on this cruise and to have such wonderful friends to share it with. Let us not forget the price some are paying to give us our freedom.

Wow Mary - I am sitting here with tears streaming down my face. Sometimes we don't think about all the families who have gone through this over the past couple of years.

We are so thankful for those who defend our country, whether it be in the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, or Coast Guard, so we may enjoy our freedom. Rich and I spent 2 1/2 years with the Marines when he was in the Navy and I can tell you they are very special individuals.

Thanks for helping us to remember that even as we get ready to enjoy a wonderful cruise, there are others that will be in harms way this Holiday Season.

Can't believe we are one week away from our departure (driving to Orlando on Friday)! I thought it might be nice to checkout the Sailaway Forecast...

Sailaway Forecast

Mary and Angela, good luck with your dental work. It's ironic, I had the same thing happen a few cruises ago, not a crown, but a lost filling and cracked tooth. Try and make the best of it!

I have an unexpected trip to WDW early next week. My company has organized a meeting at the Boardwalk conference center so I will be at WDW from Monday to Wednesday. Anyone else there during this time? I know some of you are starting you vacations early with a week at WDW...

John

And the forecast for Key West on Sunday :

<TABLE id=f2 cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD class=f2a>Sun

Looks like a beautiful day!

I hope it goes ok at the dentist for you Mary. I hate visiting the dentist even though he is always very nice when I'm there.

I think this is it http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=694509
Not sure how to put a link. On the main Cruise board - question about bringing a carafe of wine to dinner - We still love you Scuba Jim. :grouphug:
I predict this is going to be the next hot topic on the main board. No more shorts in the dining room, saving chairs at the pool, smoking on your verandah fights. It's going to be WINE fights!!! Congrats Jim on starting the craze :)

I'm with Karen and glad we're on this cruise and not them!!!

Some people are just incredibly stodgy. There's a line I won't cross when it comes to the dinner setting, but I'm not half as prim or proper as some of them.

Good ?, Jeanne got the okay from her internist(darn spelling). We see the cardiologist tomorrow, fingers crossed.

Sue, glad to hear your DM is doing well. I talked to my FIL last night. He's definitely getting better, but is still a little slow on the uptake. I asked him if he was ready to go on the cruise now, and he just chuckled. I can't imagine how stressed out we'd be right now if we hadn't cancelled them!

I was going to respond to par8hed's post - and then decided better of it..... I did flag the thread for the mods - as I thought it was getting a little too personal....

I'm glad I'm going with this group!

Happy Friday Everyone!!

Can't believe we leave in one week.
Have to work 1/2 day today so off to get some things done first.

Those of you with dental problems, hope it all works well. I am scheduled to have oral surgery in Jan. I was able to put it off until after the cruise thankfully.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Hey - I couldn't even get a comment out of you about my post......

that Lauren would be crushed.... that's she's no longer the bait for dinner for KT....

Uh huh. I replied to that. 10:24 last night:

I said "Lauren needs to switch to early dining!"

:) :)

Too late. You don't want to risk any complications from surgery. You might miss the cruise! Besides, you need something to work on when you get home, take your mind off it being over.

Good, good, I like that way of thinking. :) That will work for me. Besides, it ain't happening. We're doing far too much running around and "balanced diet" and "McDonalds" are NOT synonyms. :)

OK - so I missed it in the rush to 22,000...... :p

Who knows - she may join you on some occasion!

All my bags are packed and I'm ready to go....

Ah, one of my favorite songs....

Another true confession....I am a HUGE John Denver fan. Went to several of his concerts as a teen/young adult and shed a tear when he died. :sad1:

At least you explained who the thong was for. With that piece of information the rest of the box makes sense.

Great, last night amaretto sour on the screen. Today, latte!

[One thing that I think will be interesting is to HEAR each person's voice. It will be like characters in a book, suddenly coming to life!!

Good night!
Stacey

Stace, that's too true. Kind of like when a favorite book gets made into a movie, just taking the things/people you've imagined and making them real makes for some interesting times!

Love the picture of Jordan. She really looks like she's getting into the song.

DD's school concert was Wed. I couldn't believe the number of kids just standing there with their arms crossed, mouthing the words. Our school system requires middle school students to take some form of music for at least one year, so unfortunately, some kids are in chorus who really could care less about singing. They do offer a general music class, but once it fills up, some of the kids overflow into chorus.

:flower1: Good Morning Cruisers! :flower1:

Happy Friday!

Congrats to everyone who has already started their vacations - lucky you!

Safe travels to all those leaving early.

If you have a minute this afternoon think of me and send some pixie dust my way as I visit the dentist. Best case scenerio is that he can just fill the tooth with the compound and I'm done. Middle case - I need a crown and it will be done before we go. Worse case - I need a crown and have to have a temp on for the cruise. Even the worst isn't the end of the world, but I'm hoping for the best!

Well off to read the boards and then to work!
Sending prayers out for you Mary! And for Angela too! Sore teeth are no fun!
