Tomorrow is another long day, so I'm hitting the sack.



GOOD FINALLY FRIDAY MORNING TO ALL OF THE HOLIDAY CRUISERS!!


Next Friday morning, we'll be getting on the plane to WDW and MVMCP and finally getting to see everyone.
One thing that I think will be interesting is to HEAR each person's voice. It will be like characters in a book, suddenly coming to life!!

Good Night Everyone. Hope everyone had a great day. Today we actually are having a night with no severe weather! We will be able to sleep through the night. YAY! This is our last weekend before the cruise. I am so happy.

All my bags are packed and I'm ready to go.... We're working tomorrow morning and then heading out in the afternoon. We have a layover on Friday and will be in Orlando on Saturday evening. We're so excited. Can't believe it's finally here. I am about 100 pages behind on this thread so I hope I didn't miss too much ...

Still haven't started packing yet. Took my suit pants to get them "altered". They fit pretty good but I feared that halfway into the cruise there might be a problem!

Well only a few days to go and disaster strikes. I woke up this morning with a huge hole in the back of one of my teeth. I guess I must have lost a filling but no idea where it went - must have swallowed it in the night I suppose. Anyway I have an emergency appointment at the dentist on Monday so hopefully he can fix it up for me. Better to do it now than next week and at least it doesn't hurt. I can't believe it as I go to the dentist regularly and I've not had to have any treatment for years - bad timing or what.

DW and I were charting the nights of dining and activities with the next day diving. She was concerned about the desert night with the promised Banfi. It turns out its the night before CC. So, all is right with the world! We CAN have our cake and eat it too, (with Rosa Regale champagne) yummmmm!!!

And my DW thought I was being obsessive. I like your thinking and will add diving into my chart.

Well, I wasn't going to say what I found in the box. I figured that was between the two of you.

He's early with me. One of the only ways I've convinced MY dd to eat with us is to tell her that Lisa Scuba will be on early dinner too. She's hoping that at some point they can pull up a chair to our table (or theirs) and the girls can eat together!

Absolutely. She is welcome any time. We are all in the same general area anyway, so I am sure the servers won't care if we move chairs around or play "musical" chairs during dessert.

NOTE: Jim is currently explaining to Lisa that she has become an "enabler" to my DIS addiction. She is changing my laundry around so I can read an post on the boards. Well, I had better get her to the bus stop, so my fear of her telling the teacher "I'm late because my Mom was on the boards and I missed my bus" doesn't become a reality.

Angela - you are not alone - same thing happened to me last Sunday night. Turns out I might need a crown. I find out for sure this afternoon. As you said at least it doesn't hurt and it happened before we left. Good luck!

Congrats to everyone who has already started their vacations - lucky you!

Safe travels to all those leaving early.

If you have a minute this afternoon think of me and send some pixie dust my way as I visit the dentist. Best case scenerio is that he can just fill the tooth with the compound and I'm done. Middle case - I need a crown and it will be done before we go. Worse case - I need a crown and have to have a temp on for the cruise. Even the worst isn't the end of the world, but I'm hoping for the best!

Well off to read the boards and then to work!

Can you believe we fly to Orlando in one week?! We are going to start packing tomorrow. With winter band and orchestra concerts all over with we will have a little more free time (kidding).

I'm going to search at Target for my shoe holder thing....can't believe I can't find one? Is there a big Christmas rush for this item???

Off to a boring budget meeting in Lansing today. Ugh. Probably as much fun as getting a filling....

Serious note here. If you have 5 minutes I urge you to visit this site and watch the video http://www.bobbywarns.com/ It is a tribute to a young man who was a United States Marine and was killed in Irag. It is a very moving tribute and I think it speaks not only to him but to all who are giving their lives for our freedom.

We are all very, very blessed to be able to go on this cruise and to have such wonderful friends to share it with. Let us not forget the price some are paying to give us our freedom.
