Teresa, you need to have a place to put your photo on the internet. Web space, or a photo sharing web site. Or, you can e-mail a pic of your sign to me and I'll post it for you. I like playing with pictures.

Well, I guess if people get upset in the line to go on a cruise, they need that cruise really badly. Once I'm in the terminal, I'm coasting. Too bad it's so much trouble to get there sometimes. It's all the darn luggage.

There we go, thinking alike again, Mary...
Which could lead to a lot of fun on the cruise!

Do you have an appointment set up for him Matt?

I wonder if he is on business or pleasure or a little of both.

Gus

No appointment set up. He said its pleasure. As he is bringing his wife and 2 daughters, I think. I am checking in with him again via phone this weekend. He told me to call him beginning of december. I hope he can still come.
Matt

I will get 20,000

scuba diver--I remember reading on the main boards that you have to watch out for ants if you are parking at the port. Not to sound stupid, but do I need to worry about that in December or does the cool nights kill them off? I was going to bring ant spray for the tires and around the car. I thought you would have the answer since you live there (in Florida, not the port!)

Judy

I have never heard of that. Our nights are never cool enough to kill anything off.

We leave cars out every night and have never had a problem, but than we don't leave food in the car. Where there is food, there are ants.

Okay, the party we went to was for the group that Jay served on the Grand Jury with. They plan on getting together every month for who knows how long. They did once, already. I think Jay & I were out of town. Sitting there, listening to them talk and laugh, I was thinking "This is just like us...the DISer's"
Seems that they already knew an awful lot about me.....and I always thought Jay was quiet. But this is a good thing, because he's going to find out just how much you all know about HIM! LOL
They are a bunch of really nice people, and were great at including me in their conversations. It felt like a bit of a pre-cruise test.
The best part was the drive home. Jay was telling me more about them, and asking me more about my friends here. It was great! He's really starting to look more and more forward to this, was very proud to tell everyone we were sailing two weeks from today. I NEVER would have believed he'd know that...I usually have to remind him the day or two before...."Umm, you know we leave on Friday, right?" "Leave?? Where are we going?" That kind of thing.
As we were talking about all of you, he proved he'd been listening all along. He'd say "Oh...you met him in Vegas...or her...." And..."Oh, that's the one who...."
It was really cool. I know it doesn't sound like much, but this is a MAJOR breakthrough here!!!

Yep, ants are a huge threat at the port. they warn you repeatedly about it. They will find food just about anywhere.

Well it is December 4th and I don't have the newsletter up.

I think since this will be the last one before we cruise I'm going to do it a little different and make it more of a recap.

I hope to get it up tomorrow.

I'll have the list of everyone getting a button (done and packed and ready to ship).

I'll have the list of everyone getting a mini-nav and playing tag (done and packed and ready to ship).

I'll also put in some fun little stats (like who has had the milestones etc).

Jim - that's the key. Don't leave open food in your car and you'll be fine.

I'm in....

Oh by the way, just a thought.....is this a form of gambling?

Is anyone interested in meeting at one of the casinos on one of the islands for a DIS meet at a black jack table?

Gus

Gus- We would like to hit a casino, but just not sure where/which islands may have one. I think St Marten does, not sure about the rest.

Gus I got us a top too!!

As yo can tell, we are back from Orlando and MCO. The lights at MGM are pretty incredible. They are doing it down New York Ave now and not the staged houses. The crowds were pretty big for the lights, but not bad for the rides. 15 minute wait for Rockin Roller Coaster, 5 minutes for Star Wars. Bigger line for the coffee since it was cold.

DW is sitting by the fireplace and is happy. Never thought we would be using a fireplace in FL.

Sounds like a nice group, Stacey. And we're looking forward to meeting Jay. Glad that he's been convinced that we won't bite!

Matt, you might have some competition. Lots of seniority here.

By the way, Gus.....I can't speak for Virgil (but I will)....please do not dangle a casino in front of us. That would make you an enabler.

And I am officially OUT of buttons! You're not on the list, sorry, there isn't any more for me to even make any with. I did run off a limited number of blanks, they will be first come, first served.

I should have some senority.LOL I posted i think one of the first threads about our cruise on main forums. So that should give me somthing. LOL
I will win! I will!
Matt:)

The group on the DVC Member Cruise thread were amazed at the number of buttons made. We will have to do a reorder before we start on those. Of course we have 9 months :D

They also added a 'street' at MGM didn't they, think it was San Fran or something. The last time we were there was the last time they ran the lights on the house mockup area. They were already beginning construction on NY street.
