Hey PinDiva,

I got lots of pins, fairly big pin trader. Went to DL buying pins once a week when I lived in california. I have not been as big into since moving away. On the cruise I hope to buy lots of special LE pins onboard. Any other traders out there? We can all show off our pins to each other.
Watching a movie and surfing the web right now

Well it is December 4th and I don't have the newsletter up.

I think since this will be the last one before we cruise I'm going to do it a little different and make it more of a recap.

I hope to get it up tomorrow.

I'll have the list of everyone getting a button (done and packed and ready to ship).

I'll have the list of everyone getting a mini-nav and playing tag (done and packed and ready to ship).

I'll also put in some fun little stats (like who has had the milestones etc).

Thanks once again for everything you and Mark have done to make this a memorable vacation, and it hasn't even started yet.
Does anyone else have newsletters and mini navigators, buttons and t-shirts?

I am only guessing.............NOT

Gus- We would like to hit a casino, but just not sure where/which islands may have one. I think St Marten does, not sure about the rest.

Gus I got us a top too!!

St. Martin works for us.
I think we are going to a beach in the morning, then back to the Magic for lunch ( leaving the kids there ) and then shopping and/or Casino.

Boy, gone 10 hours and I have another 20 pages to read. Glad to see you hit 20,000 while I was out.

Lots to do in the a.m. Need to get suitcases out and start laying out stuff!
And, some more sewing to do!

Gus, got the pirate dress done for your daughter. It was a breeze. Now I need to make some more pirate vests!

Okay, later!

Here's a stupid question... duh.. just noticed that I am back to being a registered user... what happened to my DIS Veteran Status? Registered User sounds like I'm on some kind of druggie list....LOL
Can't answer your question, but :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

The song, "I'm Not Lisa, My Name is Julie" was sung by Jessi Colter.

Sorry to confuse....Lisa was being silly. Trying to convince everyone that she is no longer "Lisa". Nice try!

So, it is I who am left all alone. Good thing I have Lisa to talk to! I couldn't get my picture site to do what I wanted....oh well.

BLESSED SUNDAY MORNING TO ALL OF THE HOLIDAY CRUISERS!!!

Or, maybe I'll stay, and get a T.O.P. the easy way................

Paul.....where are you????? You're supposed to be up late, talking to me!

I like it better when Virgil works the night shift!

See, David.....it's okay to talk to yourself. As long as you don't answer. And if you do answer, you should have an evil twin to blame it on!!

It really isn't any fun to play with yourself.

Guess I'll go to bed.

Good Night!

Good Morning Everyone.

I can't believe how many posts there were last night - soon keeping up with this thread will be a full time job.

Finally going to sleep at 3:22am. LOL And then in a few hours up for church and then off to HW. One more week of regular school, then week of half days and finals and then cruise! I am so excited. Started looking at cruise dinner menus again. They bring back memories of the good food.

Can I somehow be added to lists of peoples staterooms and mini navigator. Interested in playing the tag thing to. Our room is 7537. To bad I missed on the buttons parents missed out on the brunch. When that was in final planning was when we were moving.

:flower1: Good Morning Cruisers! :flower1:

Blessed Sunday everyone!

Great job on getting the milestone last night Jim & Karen. Lots of fun with that one!

Tag & Mini-Navigator

This was addressed a couple of days ago but people might have missed it. This will also answer your question Matt.

The mini-navs have all been printed. If you are new or if you missed getting in your request. Please send me a pm with your name, room number and who all is in your room. I'm going to pass that list on to Virgil and he is going to make stickers that can be affixed to the back of the mini-nav's so that people know you are interested.

As of right now I do not have anyone singed up for this. Please if you want to do this send a pm. Posts go by way too quick and get lost.

Thank you!

Thanks for the kind words Gus, but it isn't just us. It is this great group of people we are sailing with that make it work.

These boards have been a wonderful source of information which is why we all first came. Adding on a cruise meets board was a great idea and really helps us get to know our fellow cruises.

Does every cruise have things like the newsletters etc. No they don't, but you'll find a lot of the special cruises have something going. I had seen post about a newletter on a couple of cruise meet threads back in 2003 which gave me the idea to do ours. Then someone had given me a link to a web page done for one of their earlier cruises and they had a photo page so we started doing that as well.

gaRry organized t-shirts for the Western Inagural and I think it is a great idea.

Mark and I did buttons for the DVC Member Cruise back in Feb. 03 and got a great response from them. People were wearing them the whole cruise and getting to know each other.

A number of people on other cruises have been able to set up Brunch at Palo and I'm really glad Gail suggested it and LeiLani took it over.

People from many other cruises have been able to link reservations, but I wonder if they have ever had as many linked as we do :D

A number of other cruises have had wine parties, but to the best of my knowledge I've never heard of another group being able to get Sessions or any other venue for them.

The tag idea was started by another group and just picked up on by us.

My one and only goal when I started the web page and newsletter was for everyone to get to know each other. I think I accomplished that goal.

It is the people who have been posting here and sharing with each other that really make this group what it is! Everyone has their own reasons for posting or not, but I think those that really threw themselves into this group are the ones who are getting the most out of it. Most of all whether you came in on post #1 or post #20001 we're here to have fun.

Gus, you have done more than your part as well. As a new cruiser you have asked many great questions that have sparked conversations and helped us share. Knowing too that you have this special surprise set up for your children is the icing on the cake. Thank you for sharing that with us!
