Whew!!! Took me awhile to figure out why I couldn't post anything. Turns out it was an AOL problem. We still haven't gotten our docs yet, so much for the alphabetical theory (Banks) or location (2 1/2 hours away). Anyway, I forget what the theme night schedule was and don't have time to go way back and find it. Any help reminding me when formal, pirate nights, etc. are?

I have it written down. Theme nights on 20th and 21st. Pirate night 22nd and formal night 25. semi formal on the 26th. oops not sure about the 26th.

I was thinking semi-formal was the 24th - I am so confused. Trying to figure out what we're wearing and when. Can't believe we've been "planning" this for over a year and now with 3 weeks to go I don't know what I'm taking! I was brave today and actually went bathing suit shopping. One store later and I was finished. We're going to WDW next weekend to see the holiday decorations - after that I think I'll just pack and whatever goes into the suitcase is what we'll wear!
Our holidays are very calm. Just 5 of us - all relatives are "up north". Makes for a relaxing day. DD's boyfriend joined us for dessert which was nice.

I think I will pass trying to get really caught up. That is a clever idea to set up another board. DIS Board withdrawl is a serious disease. Glad someone figured out the cure.

Yes, it was a great trip. It is amazing how much can be done in three days.

Here's my docs story.

Called Disney today asking for my UPS tracking number on my docs.

So I looked up my history.

Mailed on Monday, and received and signed for on Tuesday. Delivered to New York ...... nah ...... delivered to Deerfield Beach, Florida.

So now I'm pissed that my docs are floating around in Florida with my personal info on it. I call back Disney and ask what happened.

15 minutes later Disney figures out what happened. My travel agent (out of Texas) called Disney on the 17th telling them to mail the docs directly to me, unfortunately the docs were already printed and then mailed out to my travel agent's US headquarters in ............ Deerfield Beach, Florida.

So my TA from Dallas calls me back an hour later and explains the process to me ...... they review the docs at HQ to make sure they are right, yada yada yada ......they will mail them out Monday so I should receive them by Friday of next week. I said ...... no way

She said, they are right, no need to worry. You really don't NEED them until the day before you leave, why so important to have them right away? and it costs $35 to overnight them.

I responded ...

1 - everyone on the boards is getting theirs, so I WANT mine (think she understands, "the boards"?

2 - I then said that it will cost HER $35 to overnight them to me

Needless to say, they will be mailed out Monday, and I will be getting them on Tuesday

I felt I had to share this

My goals for today are to get our Christmas cards done and to also get the labels done for the buttons and mini-navs.

We're also going to be setting up the Christmas tree today so we'll finally be complete and ready for the season!

Wow Mary! You're good - so organized!!

I really enjoyed the boards on Friday and it was fun being in the thick of it with everyone. I couldn't wait to get back on - Friday night and all day yesterday I had to help my brother and his family move into their new home! Whew! what a chore - I now know where all of my muscles are located - because I can FEEL them!!! And we had movers too! but once they leave - you know how it is and with the holidays around the corner we wanted them set up for Christmas!

I must tell you though the best thing was coming home to my Documents!! the arrived!! I used Costco Travel Co - when I booked they had the best rates - it was a 2,000 difference from Disney and Dreams travel - but anyway they sent them to my USPS Priority Mail!

Well, I am going on Yahoo to catch up - Have a Great Sunday everyone!

I wish I could help. I just go to 'private messages' in the top right hand corner, under welcome ******* and click. MarkRG helped me yesterday.

Sue is right. Go to the top right on the page. There is a yellow box that says welcome (and your scrren name). Tells you when you last visited and under that is says Private Messages. If you click that it should take you to your in-box.

Theresa - how far back are you trying to look? They did say we would lose pm's in the board conversion.

Glad to be back. Took a while to catch up. I couldn't really get the hang of the Yahoo group, but read some.

I asked this question before, but never got an answer. Now I have been reading my documents and it does confirm what I thought. The Captains Gala is the most formal night. That would make our formal night the 26th and Christmas semi-formal???

Mary- I am very impressed with your packing. I always way overpack and am really trying hard not to this time. I am disappointed that there is not a laundry room on deck 8 though. Not sure how I feel about schleping my laundry downstairs.

Hope eveyone has a great day. Gotta help DH finish packing and then run him to the airport this afternoon.
