I want to thank Karen (ohiominnie) for giving us a fun place to play while the boards were down.

Well today was our test packing! We got everything to fit (at least I think it is everything - need to go over my lists one more time.
Between the two of us we have one garment bag, one large suitcase, a small rollaway (my carryon for the plane) and one camera bag (Mark's carryon for the plane). Not too bad.

And of course my luggage too!

I knew it. I just knew it.

The good news is that I will not be packing nearly as many clothes as I thought. The mediocre news is that you will be seeing me in the same skirts several times, and the same black shoes the whole time.
The BAD news is, that means that quite a few dresses that I had planned on wearing don't fit.
Neither do some of the ones I am bringing, but I don't have a choice. You'll just have to ignore the rolls.
Majorly depressed right now. Seriously.


Mr. Bear...did you get anything in the mail lately???

Hmmm - the new boards are interesting....... Take some time to get used to......

I'm on dialup from Weirton... here visiting my parents .... lumping Thanksgiving and Christmas together......

Stacey, I warned you about trying on clothes.

The good news is, we got documents today. The bad news is, they got Kevin's name wrong. I checked all our correspondence, receipts, etc., and they are all correct "Mr. Charles K. Eddy", just like his passport. His documents say "Kevin Charles". Who is that? And what did he do with my husband?

Yeah, I called. Everyone is out until Monday. I left messages. Good thing he's scuba diving today, maybe he'll be in a good mood. I think I'd better make some turkey enchiladas too.

For the record, this is NOT my fault!

THE BOARDS ARE BACK!!!!!

This is going to take some getting used to!

Just finished with the DIL on the phone going over pirate names with her. We were both on the phone and I checked the port and saw the Magic pulling out at 5:01 p.m. EST so I had her gather her family around at 5:20 p.m. while we were talking cruise stuff and then.....................

5:26 p.m. Magic rolls by Two Palms with lights all on and her kids were screaming and all excited that they would be on that ship in three weeks. Don't know if they really understand it or not, but it was pretty cool.

Three pirate outfits made, 10 more to go. Back to sewing. Check in later.

Click on the 'User CP' above.

Click on 'Edit options'

Scroll down to 'Default Thread Subscription Mode'and click the pulldown tab at the right of the box and choose 'No Email Notification'

I haven't packed yet
no skirts but I will be wearing the same black slacks several night.
blue sandals and wearing birkies on the plane since I always have to take off my shoes.

I missed seeing Mary's post this morning. Glad the boards are back. I had difficulty with yahoo as I could only see one post at a time. Took way too long to catch up on what everyone was saying. I like that the post # is shown. I am also trying some new things
I want to try to do this with different size and color
