:flower1: Good Morning Cruisers! :flower1:

Blessed Sunday everyone!

Diana - sounds like you had a great time at the play and have a budding star on your hands. Is she going to try out for the talent show on the cruise?

Good Morning Fellow Cruisers. We will be waking up on the Magic in 4 Weeks!!!!

Diana - congrats to Alicia I'm sure she had as much fun as you all had watching. I agree she needs to do something for the talent show.

gaRry don't forget to bring home some donuts too. I'll make the coffee.

Hope everyone has a great day.

EXCELLENT!! Congrats on a job well done.

Sounds like great show. Will it be touring to the Midwest?? ;)

Happy Sunday Everyone!

We are off to another Volleyball tournament today. This is an invitational , the 1st and 2nd place team from last weeks tournament were invited to this one. This will be top teams from different counties. I am not sure how they will do , we may be home early!

I had my first , of many to come, dreams/nightmares about the cruise. Don't have time for all the details. Just hope the cruise goes better than this, lol. Does anyone else start dreaming about their trips??

Hope everyone has a great day!

We had an advantage, because we knew the actor quite well. Nothing like seeing your daughter dressed as a boy dressed as a girl. And owning it. I think we need to find a comedy school for this one.

Oh, the play got two thumbs up.::yes:: [/B]

Lisa & I are reading the boards together (a mother / daughter bonding experience) and we knew right away it was Alicia playing the part of Royboy. Remember, we saw her dance moves at EPCOT when she was entertaining the crowds at the Living Seas while she was scuba diving. By the way, that's where the "boys" are right now - diving at Jenny springs.:smooth: :Pinkbounc :wave2:

Another chilly day in the UK. Still at least it is not raining.

I have a question about the magnetic door signs - how big do you usually make them. Is A4 size big enough or should I aim for something a bit bigger.

Thanks

Angela

WHAT HAPPENED??? WHY DIDN'T YOU WIN?????? we did OUR part!!!

Now I know Ohiominnie is really truly happy for her Maize and Blue friends to the north....We wonder who kidnapped our real team yesterday in Ohio and substituted the lackluster team that played. Seriously, Ohio did no wrong yesterday...I bet you wondered where this was this season.

Off to church!

Angela - got your pm and you've been added to tag!

I am having a hard time settling on my formal dress. I keep thinking, well it is Christmas time, so I should go all out. I am considering a full lenth gown. Anyone else going this formal or will you be in shorter dresses? I hate drawing distinctions between formal and semi-formal!

Thanks for you thoughts,

Tracey

P.S. Our Argos are in the Grey Cup today! Go Argos....

Mini-Nav List!

David,

I don't remember seeing anything from you. Did you tell me in chat maybe? If so I forgot. So the question is do you only want to be in the mini-nav? I don't have you down for buttons or tag.

I'll put you down for the mini-nav, but if you want either of the others please send me a pm or e-mail (so it doesn't get lost in all the posts).

Tracey - I think you'll be fine no matter which direction you go. I'm going to be wearing a long black skirt for both formal and semi-formal. I have a gold lurex sweater set for formal and a black/grey top for semi-formal.

The outfits for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day have tops that are a little flashier with sequins, but as you said it is Christmas time so why not have some fun.

DW and I were having this conversation last night. It's tough to decide what you're going to wear taking in to account that "someone" has to carry all that to and fro!

The shoes, are the hardest! I would love to have some boots to wear with the pirate outfit, but I'll be darned if I'm going to carry those for a one time use. As it goes with all that we need, or don't need, just be thoughtful on the amount of stuff you take.

We're going to make a list, set the intended items out on a rack in the living room and then weed out only the essentials from there. Of course the scuba equipment will be the first to be packed. (I mentioned essentials didn't I?)

Kevin - you are doing exactly what we are. We have a rack up in our dining room now with all our clothes. We are working hard to do a lot of mix and match. I'm doing the same with my formal vs. casual nights. The more formal nights I'm doing back and taking black sandals. The more casual nights I'm going with tans and will use my normal day sandals. The less we have to pack the better!

OM, the May 27, 2006 cruise is a modified Western cruise. It stops at CC, Cozumel, Costa Maya, and CC again.

Sharon, that's why some of those moves looked familiar! She did use some of the same ones. I do think last night's performance was the swan song. She plans to participate in the talent show on the ship, but it will be with her solo dance, a rather serious lyrical/modern piece. But maybe she will entertain us at dinner. Do they still do the conga line on pirate night?

Maybe with a little encouragement, she'll do a modified version at one of the deck parties. She's a tiny bit shy when she's not on stage, though.

Angela, you're going to have to translate UK sizes for us, so we can answer your question. We bought magnetic sheets at Walmart in the 8.5 X 11" size, you just stick them in your printer.

You are absolutly right about the "have to carry it all". We are working towards that mix and match mentality. I keep laying out outfits and seeing how many things they can go with. The more mileage I can get out of my long and short black skirts the better! As for evening footwear - your going to see the same pair of dressy sandals on my feet for all the evenings! You can only carry so much!

Yes.............are there any others that are 10 days or 14 ?

I made ours the standard 8.5"x 11.5" sheet in portrait orientation. I've seen others that cut out different sized graphics or images and attach them to their doors as well.

I guess, when it comes down to it. It's your creativity and your choice. Make it fun!!

I am taking a long formal and a couple of short dressy ones for semi-formal and Christmas. Since we do not have scuba gear, DH can carry my dresses. :teeth: I do just have one pair of dressy sandals for all though.
