Diana, they only have the rotation on them...we don't get our table number until we get to the rooms, and get our "dinner tickets", remember?

HA! Two T.O.P.'s in a row...and not even trying!! princess: pirate:

Another Family :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

And I asked Dreams Unlimited last night (or was that this morning when I couldn't sleep) to add the "Cam Fam" to the late seating. Haven't heard back yet but they usually get back to me within 24 hours.

I forgot to say: I am sorry for printing everyone's last name.....

Mushy Alert!

I've been thinking of something for a while now and thought now is as good a time as any to put it down in print.

I have a feeling deep in my heart that this is going to be the best Christmas ever!

In May of '03 when we first heard about the possibility of the 10 day cruise Mark and I were excited. It sounded so wonderful. Still there is the thing about being away from family over the holidays. My mom has been gone for 7 years now so the holidays just aren't the same for me. I love Mark's family but they aren't really into the holidays either - at least not the immediate family. So it wasn't too hard. Yet the thought had crossed my mind that it would be just the two of us (well three - we will have Bear :D ) for the holidays.

That was really why way back when I wanted to start the newsletters. I wanted to get to know those that I was sailing with. Not to push into your family celebrations but to see friendly faces on the ship, on shore, etc. That's what happened on the first Member Cruise and I thought if we could meet one or two people as great as we met then it would be great.

I never, never expected to become as close to so many of you as I have. I can honestly say that in the 4 plus years I've been on the DIS I've never enjoyed logging on as much as I have since I joined this group. This thread has brought a smile to my face so many time, many of those times when I really really needed a smile.

I feel such pride hearing about Karen's son getting that starring role.

I feel such joy in making a card to cheer up Sue's mom.

I feel such happiness in logging on to chat and seeing so many other 12/18 cruisers joining in and having fun.

I love looking at all the pictures you've shared. I love reading about the meetings you have had.

I look forward to all the events we have planned as a group.

Of course I realize that I have the best of both worlds in that I have this great group as well as the best husband in the world to share it all with. :D

So to all those on this thread - thank you so much for being here and making this thread and this cruise so special.

Do me a favor will you all. Thank your spouses and family members for sharing you with us. I know I'll be thanking them when I meet them.

Ok - mushiness over - back to your regular chatting. :D

Mary.........I love "LOVE"

"Group Hug" when we all see each other.

I thought it might be incentive enough!!

Although we might have a "man overboard" drill (or not!) about the third day into the cruise........:scared1: :rolleyes1

Well, my job here is done.
Since I'm not going to work, I guess I'll go to the grocery store. I have to feed the "boss" something good for dinner, so he won't be mad at me!

Back later....soccer practice, etc......

So would that be Dairy Queen, Taco Bell, or a Swanson's TV Dinner?

Also, what about Angela...arthurstance? Wasn't Angela late seating, but in with the second group that got started for that??

And GUS.....early or late?

HELP!

Gus is early.....I hope it hasn't changed.

Should I call someone to verify?

I was thinking that Lynda and Cash got changed to late dining, but maybe they've been changed back. Gus had early. Angela had second seating.

Mary, no fair making us choke up until the end of the cruise, OK? That was sweet.

Oh man, it's going to be tough on disembarkation day.

Thanks Diana.......

Gus

If Lynda & Cash are on late seating, that is where they are supposed to be.:D

got ya covered. I just wish MrsMork was not missing.
She is not on the early or late seating! I will pm Angie now.

Never thought of that! :scratchin

I may not wear a name tag at all....I like to be incognito......that way, if I do something naughty, no one will know who I am.

Stacey.....I totally agree with you.

Should you and I wear masks as well?

ScubaMatt will be so glad to hear that!

Went to DGS first concert in high school last night. Now I am NOT musically inclined, have NO talent at all. So we were sitting waiting for it to start, all the kids took their seats, the band instructor stood in front of them and they began tooting, etc. This went on for several minutes. I did not recognize the song and leaned over to DH and said "this band instructor is very different than the Jr. High one who always introduced the music before they play it." DH, who was a band geek for years, started laughing and said "Sweetheart, they are just warming up!" :rotfl: :rotfl: Needless to say, the music did get much better after a few more minutes. :charac2: :rolleyes1
