I'm still laughing about your dog trials! I can say the same of the adorable English Setter puppy we brought home over three years ago. My only words of wisdom for you is that it does get better. (I guess I shouldn't 'fess up that it gets better in about 3 1/2 years....)

An outdoor dog run has worked wonders for my sanity!

THREE AND A HALF YEARS!?!?!?!??!? Let's see, two months down, 3 years and 4 months to go!!

I think the fence will help a lot. She just needs to burn off energy at high rates of speed and while walks are good, I can't run as fast as she wants to go. All the rails are in on the back line and 1/2 of the one side. Of course, it won't be secure until the wire mesh is installed.

Sue - a card is on its way to your mom. Ok right now it is just sitting in a mail box in IL, but it will be on its way as soon as USPS picks it up. Hope she likes it and it brings a smile to her face (and to yours).

Hello -
Does anyone have any ideas of what my family and I could do in St. Lucia? I had tried to book the tropical waterfall excursion because it sounded relaxing and combined a short tour of the island along with some "down" time at the waterfall. I was told it had been discontinued. (Probably because it would be too boring for most!) There will be 5 of us ranging in age from 16 to 80. My aunt is a "young" 80 and used to a fair amount of walking. For example, she has no trouble keeping up with us when visiting WDW. I'm planning to go on other sites to try to come up with something.

We are doing the Island Delight. It is an all day excursion that looks to cover the island. We love learning about the history and culture of the areas we travel. We will be with the 9:10 am group and would love to have ya'll join us.

Some of us are doing the pirate boat excursion.

Caribbean Pirate Extravaganza (4 - 4.5 hours)

Ship's ahoy! This is an experience you'll treasure: It's a unique opportunity to come aboard the Brig Unicorn, the 19th-century tall ship that was featured in Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean, as well as the epic miniseries Roots. You'll set sail on this 140-foot vessel for a 1-hour ride to historic Pigeon Island and the famous Fort Rodney. Once ashore, you'll have 2 hours to enjoy swimming, hiking, sightseeing and even a real pirate's treasure hunt. Back on board for the 1-hour return trip, relax with snacks, rum punch and soft drinks.

Adult Price: $59 (ages 10 and above)
Child Price: $39 (ages 5-9)
Departure Times: 9:00 am, 1:15 pm

You all are a busy group --- thought I would never get caught up!!! Finally did, but I did miss the Ladies of the Magic part --- is that about the girls night out? Don't think I've had one of those in --- I don't know how long, how sad is that?

I'm a Cypress tree --- pretty much hits the mark on all the good stuff anyway!

Sue -- PM your Mom's address and I'll get a card out to her --- I certainily hope she's feeling better soon --- we'll keep her in our prayers.

Started packing the "bathroom" bag Sunday --- you know the bag with every kind a med anyone has ever taken just in case and all the other stuff you can't live without --- never check that one! Had to take DD to the Doctor yesterday -- she was afraid she was getting strepp --- neg test so that's good but she still feels lousy. Asked the Doc what OTC stuff we should take along so now I have a list from her, just a few items to pick up. She suggested Advil Cold and Sinus for DD now, so we'll take some of that a long too.
