I am on early seating, and I can attempt to do this, although I am not going to link with anyone. My dad has trouble hearing and has a weird sense of humor. Stacey - Everyone can order wine glasses from room service to bring and if we want snacks we can also bring cheese/crackers, cookies, etc. That way no one has a lot to bring. Just a lot of fun to be had!!

That's what I figured too. I put "design 2" on my order b/c that's the solid islands.

Boy, will they be SHARP. Especially my ds's who will have the Magic sailing in tie dye water!

Had the original design as pictured in the photo gallery, updated to reflect this cruise. It is available for printing as well as the island design. If no design is specified the island is the default one

Ok - here's the way it was explained to me.

Debbie doesn't even handle it. She handles concierge reservations and the REAS ones - that's all. She throught this was a group reserveration, but their idea of a "group" are people who booked together. I explained to her that when we all booked we didn't even know each other so there was no way we could all book through the same agent and be linked then.

She told me that I would have to call DCL direct (not DCL dining) and link the reservations with reservation numbers as "traveling with". That's why I assumed it has to be someone in the early dining group doing it so they can be "linked" properly.

I don't want to turn this into a bash Debbie thread. As I said if 2nd seating isn't having this problem that's great.

The problem is we have people on the early dining list (including the table I'm supposed to be at) that haven't posted on the thread in months and months. I just feel like I screwed the whole thing up.

Mary no one would think that you messed up, DCL just lost the flow of the situation when the handler changed. I'm sure there is someone on early seating that will be able to handle this with DCL. Please don't beat yourself up over this!

I had to go through Dreams Unlimited to link the 2nd group of late seatings. When I first contacted them I was told that cabin numbers mean nothing to DCL. I assumed this was because I was not going through DCL direct. I was able to get everybody's DCL number but I only had 6 people so it really wasn't a bid deal.

Mary, if you wanted to send me the list I will send PM's to everyone on it and at least get the ball rolling. I will also post once a day that people need to pm me with the info if they still want to be linked (I know I always forget to check my pm's if I'm not expecting anything). I think the idea that someone just pretends to be you to take care of this is a great one. I would also be willing to do this.

Even though people have not been on the boards for months I think as it gets closer, hopefully people will start checking in again. But I am also thinking if you haven't heard from them, how do you know if they are still cruisin? Maybe that's why DCL doesn't accept just cabin numbers.

Again, I would happily do whatever you need to take care of this for your group. Please let me help you.

Good Morning everyone.

I wish that Debbie would of explained this all to me from the beginning. She NEVER informed me of any of this in regards to the ressie numbers and going through DCL directly or using a TA to link it all. I was referred by DCL to call her directly. I even have the women's name who I originally spoke to before Debbie. I am not in any way turning this into a bashing session on her BUT I am really annoyned and upset that I was not given the correct information to begin with. She KNEW that we all met on these boards this was fully explained to her for the early, late dining and the brunch set up. I guess since I am not involved anymore that my conversations with her went right out the window.
Mary, I would of never taken this on myself from the begining if I knew this would of been such a pain in the A**. I am sure it will all work out. It is just so frustrating to hear that this is going on and the conversation I had seems to have never existed. I would of never handed this over to someone else if it was explained to me properly from the begining. I probally would of never taken it on and just stuck to the brunch.
I am trying to set up a Dinner at Palo's for the 1/4/05 thread and at this point I don't even want to be bothered with it. That is my opinion as I just needed to vent on this. Gail
