Oh Ken, you would absolutely make my day if one of those cat 10s was on deck 7. Was it?????? I've been waitlisted for deck 7 for 18 MONTHS! Of course, it's probably the cat 10 adjoining ours which we cancelled for the in-laws.

Oh well, we're on the ship, and that's what counts!!!

Last post before I start cooking

We also watched Harry Potter last night. I forgot how dark and scary that movie was. DS had a hard time sleeping last night! DD of course, absolutely loved it, and had no problems at all sleeping.

Diana, I think TBS usually has a marathon of "A Christmas Story" the day after Thanksgiving. So you should be able to catch it then.

I woke up this morning at 5 am to lightning. Yes I said lightning, in Maryland, on Thanksgiving. What's up with this weather????

12 working days, 3 of which are on travel (Back to Amarillo again ) When I did wake up, I started mentally going through the suitcases again, trying to be sure I knew what I still had to add to the bags. Yes, it's a sickness.

Everyone enjoy your holiday (at least the Americans), and for those of you in Canada and the UK, have a great normal Thursday.

Happy Thanksgiving Cruisers!!

Hope everyone has a terrific day. Its raining here. Not sure if that is better or worse than snow.

No cooking here, just packing!
Sam leaves Sunday for 2 weeks. We have to at least get all his cruise stuff together.

The only thing I noticed different about the documents is that there is a colored flyer with the special holiday items being offered to purchase. I think we may get one of the flower arrangements.

Hope eveyone has a great day! I will try to check back in before the boards go down.

We celebrated Lauren's birthday last night - since I have to work yet again - and Kristin is heading back to Morgantown....

Watched HP3 last night - I really enjoyed it - first time for me to see it... DW didn't like it as well as the first 2 HP movies - of course she went to see it on the day of release - and was expecting too much.....

Don't feel bad Stacey. I always snake out of doing Thanksgiving Dinner so I've never cooked a turkey in my life (we do the Easter Meal). I'm a pretty good cook but can't bake to save my life. Last week I made my Dad a Birthday Cake and everyone took one bite...and that was it . Then I took one bite and that was it . It was very "wet".

Going over the in-laws today which should be a hoot since everyone can barely stand to be in the same room with each other. DH and I are both blessed with the most dysfuntional families on the planet. (but we're pretty normal, really we are ). This year there was actually an argument about who was going to have dinner. We just try to stay out of the fray as best we can. LIFE IS TOO SHORT!!!

OK, who does the Black Friday shopping thing?

I have been researching over the last week and got it down to Target, Sears, Bath & Body and several smaller stores. I am in line by 5AM and home by 10AM. Every year I say I am not going to do this but I think I may be addicted. I compulsively plan my stratagy as I would a trip to WDW. OK, I take that "I'm normal" statement back .
